Speakin of Rumaliza's legendary story of killing the German sniper who was wiping out the Tanganyikans from the fort port hole at that time Rumaliza managed to pass the bullet right through the hole into the snipers head. The Germans were socked because Rumaliza turned the rules of engagment against the enemy and that was when he took the vantage point and killing scores and scores of the German soldiers. At this time the locals were shouting "maliza!" "maliza!" in a victorius cry hence the name Rumaliza.
After the War was over the Germans went to the Sultan of Zanzibar and asked to meet with Rumaliza, the Sultan refused to bring Rumaliza and told the German I will not bring him to you but I will tell him of your request. And when Rumaliza got the news of the Germans request he took courage and sent a message to the Germans that he will ne going to Dar es salaam on such a particular day! On his arrival amazingly the Germans had arranged a red carpet reception with a guard of honour and honoured him a Medal of Honour for his Valor. Saddly the people he fought for have forgotten and had not shown any gratitude to his name he is not even mentioned or honoured during National Day for The Heroes of Tanzania!!
Ironically GAUTAMA and his friends here attach Mkwawa's Lugalo wars with Abushir bin Salim (Kichwa Mchungu) and Bwana Kheri whom they fought against the Germans in 9 June 1889 and later in along the coast from Pangani to Kilwa with Omar Hassan Makunganya. Which was a separate war.
Omar Hassan Makunganya while fighting the Germans in the southern flank of the coastal line. He was also supporting Mkwawa and Abushir with weapons supplies and soldiers as reinforcements in the hinterlands.
These people who oppose the facts and supports the hypothesis are so confused and deranged in their hate for Arabs and Islam so not to understand that the Muslimans no mater of their race and tribal origin were leading the others including the non muslimans fighting the bruttal Germans.
They are stuck in fed fake history that depicts the Arabs and so the Muslim were the devious slavers who had done nothing good of this country and they the missionery and their Church were the sole saviours of their souls! They hid the behind the curtain of lies and they do not want to contemplate that the British came latter on in the final leg of the war qhen the German were at their weakest point and tricked the Sultan into Protecrorate and so legitimising their take over under the League of Nations Mandate.
These are manipulated in the history of the whole of East Africa and you find that the major writers of history are the same colonial figures, from Stanely, Livingstone, Speke, Ingrams, Pearce, Hollingsworth etc.
The Kivukoni history is derived from there and again the scourge of the socialistic communist agenda took its course in the mid 60's and later on.
If we ask them one question as an example of many questions here,
"Who built the Magogoni Ikulu house and the Ocean Road Hospital building (what it was)?" they won't say it even if they know!
