Osama 'funeral prayer' sparks clashes

A big scuffle erupted between Salafi extremists and worshippers in Kuwait City's Ihsan Mosque over funeral prayers for bin Laden, May 9, 2011.
Clashes have broken out at a mosque in Kuwait City after a Salafi extremist group attempted to hold a "funeral prayer" for al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.


Around 200 hardliners gathered in Ihsan Mosque on Monday afternoon, after prominent Salafi leader Mubarak Al Badhali asked his followers to honor bin Laden, IRNA quoted Kuwaiti newspaper Al Watan newspaper as saying.

The mosque's imam prevented the group from holding the prayer, arguing that they needed a special permission for the act.

But the hardliners attacked the imam and beat him down, triggering a big fight inside the mosque.

Several people were injured in the scuffle, in which fists, sticks and head gears were used, before a large police force intervened.

One of the assailants was arrested by the police for attacking the imam -- who is now confined at a hospital.

Badhali has rejected claims of gross misconduct at a sacred site, and has instead accused the imam of causing the chaos.

"Our intention was peaceful," he said, adding that he only wanted to honor "a Muslim who had been killed by disbelievers."

Lugha rahisi kabisa ni kwamba kichwa chako hakiko sawa. (akili ) tafuta tiba mapema.

WASHINGTON — U.S. officials say that Osama bin Laden kept a hand-written journal filled with planning ideas and details of operations. The journal was seized in the dramatic US raid.

The journal was part of a huge cache of intelligence that included about 100 flash drives and five computers taken by U.S. Navy SEALs after they swept through the compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

The officials spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk publicly about what was found in bin Laden's hideout.

Bin Laden has long been known to record his thoughts and had been thought to keep a diary. Bin Laden's son, in a memoir, has described his father as recording his thoughts and plans when the family lived in Sudan and Afghanistan.

They should publish it in the book for they will make millions, ili walau wapunguze makali ya mamilioni ya pesa walotimia ndani ya miaka kumi walomtafuta.... So typical of the US to say they have found something but not obliged to disclose the contents - why not SHUT UP!!!

They are now, unashamedly, trying again to cook and brainwash us with white lies, which are not so easy to believable to those who believe, into accepting the existence of so called "diaries of Binladen".

If "GOD", or was it his son? once died, what is so strange or miraculous if Binladen is dead? isn't he a mere human being?

Binladen, weather dead or alive, matters to none except to those who are chickened just by the mention of his name.

Mtoto wa namna hiyo akiwa na baba kama Bin Laden alikua hana nafasi katika maisha ya babake zaidi ya kupiga simu na kusema shikamo... Hivyo lolote aongealo halina uzito, maana wala faida juu ya kitu gani twaweza pata la ziada kuhusu Bin Laden... Anauza sura... maana wenzetu ukiwa katika media demand you make money...
 
its not not humiliating for a soldier like Osama to die and be burried like data. as it was humiliating for civilians who died like that in Dar , Nairobi and twin tower .

As a soldier at war with USA Osama and his familiy must have known the posibility and probability of his transit to "heaven" will be similar to what happened.

In war standards Osama was even lucky his body to be repescted to be burried at sea. Dats how american respected his final journey to meet his "god"

But why is the so called son complaining while the man is in "heaven "
