OR Form IV certificate with National Materials Management Diploma (full).
OR Certificate in Accountancy (CA) or Certificate in Government Accountancy (CGA) plus Certificate of Secondary Education with at least five credit passes including English and Mathematics.
OR Certificate in Financial Administration (CFA) plus Certificate of Secondary Education with at least five credit passes including English and Mathematics.
OR A two-year Diploma (non-Accounting) from a recognized training institution, plus at least three credit passes including English and Mathematics.

Professional Examinations​

Foundation Stage Module A
· Accounting Technician level II (ATEC II) statement of success.
OR Diploma in Cooperative Accounting from Moshi University College of Cooperatives and Business Studies (MUCCoBS) the then Moshi Cooperative College. An applicant must also possess at least two principal passes at “A” level or three credit passes at “O” level.
OR Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting option – DBA (prior to 2000). An applicant must also possess at least two principal passes at “A” level or three credit passes at “O” level.
OR NAD I OR NAD II – this examination is no longer being conducted by the Board.
OR A three-year Advanced Diploma/Degree from a recognized training institution which offers a non accounting/or non business Orient qualification e.g. Bsc. Eng. Bsc. Mathematics, Advanced Diploma in Transport Management. An applicant must also possess at least two principal passes at “A” level or three credit passes at “O” level.
Module B
A three-year Advanced Diploma/Degree from recognized training institution which offers Business Oriented programmes e.g. B.Com Finance, B.Com. Marketing, Advanced Diploma in Materials Management, Advanced Diploma in Business Administration, Advanced Diploma in Tax Management etc. Applicant must also possess at least two principal passes at “A” level or three credit passes at “O” level.
OR Certified Supplies Professional (CSP).
OR National Accountancy Diploma (NAD) – This examination is no longer being conducted.
Intermediate Stage Module C
Certified Public Accountant Part (CPA I) – This examination is no longer being conducted.
OR Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting option (DBA) with at least two principal passes at “A” level or three credit passes at “O” level.

Sababu za kuongezwa masomo ni consultants kutoka Institute of Accountants and Auditors kutoka Wales kushauri board kuongeza udhibiti wa professional kwani board hawana uwezo wa ku monitor quality of education ya vyuo vyote vinavyopewa exemption na board.....hivyo masomo sita tu imeonekana kuchangia production ya CPA wasiolingana uwezo kulingana na background ya candidates........hivyo kwa masomo kumi ni assurance ya CPA wenye uwezo sawa regardless of your background........hivyo kama board wangewa wanauwezo wa kufatilia ubora wa elimu za vyuo mbalimbali kila wakati kusingekuwa na ulazima wa kuongeza masomo ya kutaini Graduates........hivyo graduates wote wataanzia Intermediate wanapiga ngoma sita then final ngoma nne.....lakini after one year kutakuwa na somo moja la mwisho kabisa ambalo imeshauriwa liongezwe baada ya watu kuzoea hii silabi mpya.......kazi kwenu Wahasibu na Wakaguzi watarajiwa.....
