Some apps take alot of space when storing their data (e.g facebook) , so that we want to link their data to SD card.
First: Reorder Partitions. You¡¯ll have to reorder your partitions to add a partition for your data.
1 ¨C Connect your phone and open minitool partition wizard. 2 ¨C Resize your main partition by about 256 MB less in the end. 3 ¨C Move your ext4 partition from the resize screen to the left. 4 ¨C Create the un-partitioned space as an ext4.
Step 2: auto-mount.
If you linked apps to SD card , you can easily automate this.
1 ¨C Download and install any file explorer that can open system as su (e.g X-plore , Root explorer. 2 ¨C Open the following file for editing.
/system/etc/init.d/##-link2sd.sh
3 ¨C Add the following line to the file.
mount -t ext4 -o rw /dev/block/mmcblk0p3 /data/data
4 ¨C Restart your phone to take effect.
If you have a slow SD card you¡¯ll probably find that your phone is slower, but you¡¯ll have more storage.
