There must be a lunatic on the driving seat!
It turns out that after over 46 years of independence we are as much confused, lost and undecided as ever!
I suspect, more and more of us underrate the strength contained in our votes! We are so lazy to think straight. I have seen the excitement in their eyes as General Election draws near, for they know its time to sell votes! And they sure gonna sell them vote, in exchange with cheap clothing, empty and ridiculous promises, small favours etc, all at the cost of this country's future!
I sometimes wish our society could be rid of such people but I know, after the elections, they will be the very first ones to complain about what the govt is doing and what its not doing!
Ooh, how I feel sad after realizing that we are actively and passionately ruining our lovely country, and a sure thing is, we will handle this country to our sons and daughters in a much worse shape than the state it had when we received it from our ancestors!
At times, I keep wondering. How dare we laugh and scorn our ancestors for signing disadvantegeous contracts with colonialists in exchange with cheap presents and meaningless rewards? At least they had an excuse, they never knew how to read, but now we damn well know how to read and right and weigh and scrutinize, yet we are committing the same grave mistakes, even worse than them! All this because of SELFISHNESS. A recent and deadly EPIDEMIC sweeping across this land with such a great force and menace!
HYPOCRACY everywhere, GOD help us and deliver us from this mess, please start with our mind set, we beg and pray dear Lord, AMEN
