A deep breath and, on the incoming front, A Bola in Portugal suggested over the weekend that Sir Alex has made striker Radamel Falcao, who is representing Colombia in the Copa America and scored both goals against Bolivia, a top target. However, Porto are offering the prolific hitman a new contract to fend off any alleged interest.

A difference of opinion this morning in France. Magazine France Football report Samir Nasri has agreed to join City to become the highest-paid French player in history but L'Equipereveal the midfielder is going to honour the last year of his contract with Arsenal. He's currently in Asia with the rest of the Gunners squad.

WESLEY SNEIJDER is ready to sign for Manchester United this week in a club record £35million deal.

The Inter Milan midfielder is expected to agree a bumper contract that would eclipse even Wayne Rooney's £220,000 a week.
A team-mate said: "Everyone expects Wesley's move to United to be announced soon, maybe as early as Wednesday."
Sneijder's arrival will take United boss Alex Ferguson's summer spending to more than £85m - just £5m more than he picked up when he sold Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid in July 2009.

BOBBY CHARLTON says Manchester United will never rename their Old Trafford ground for cash - like neighbours City.

The Manchester United legend and club director believes it is just lower-league clubs short of money who should do it.
Last week City announced a £400million 10-year naming rights and shirt sponsorship deal with an Arab airline.
Now The City of Manchester Stadium - or Eastlands - is known as Etihad Stadium. But Charlton insists the name of Old Trafford will never change.

He said: "No, I don't think it will happen with us. It's not our business to tell City what they should be doing.
"When teams in the lower divisions are short of cash, then fair do's, good luck to them. They should do it."

Reports are emerging on Internazionale fan sites that Wesley Sneijder will meet with his club today for 'decisive talks' about his future. They also add that any deal to take the midfielder to United will not involve Nani, and will instead be a straight purchase.

I pray that Nani is not sacrificed.

Wacha majungu mkubwa wewe sasa .... ..... khe khe kheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Nasri yuko Kuala, bado hamchoki kutamani vya wenzenu.

Word in Manchester is David Gill yuko Milan akijaribu kukamilisha personal terms na Sneijder baada ya kupewa ruhusa na Inter Milan kuongea na Wesley Sneijder.

The Daily Mail reports...
Sneijder agrees United deal
Manchester United hope to complete the £35million transfer of Wesley Sneijder after agreeing terms of around £190,000 a week with the Inter Milan midfielder. Sneijder was forced to compromise on his initial wage demands of £250,000-a-week, but an agreement has been struck and a deal is close to completion. The Glazer family, who own United, have sanctioned the fee for the 27-year-old Holland star as a replacement for Paul Scholes, who retired at the end of last season. Chief executive David Gill met his Inter counterparts in Zurich yesterday at a meeting of the European Club Association. It is understood Gill made clear United's willingness to pay £35m, with an official bid expected to be lodged before the weekend. Although Inter are reluctant to sell, they accept they cannot turn down such a lucrative bid. Gill hopes to have the deal wrapped up before he flies to the US tomorrow.

The Daily Mirror concurs with the Mail over Sneijder's imminent signing, echoing the £35million fee and reported £190,000 weekly wage packet.

United's scouting department casts a wide net, apparently covering the recent under-17 World Cup in Mexico. One of the stars of the tournament,Adryan, has already been linked with the Reds, and Click Manchester claims Sir Alex Ferguson has now requested to take the Flamengo youngster on loan.

Sir Alex Ferguson has denied pursuing Wesley Sneijder, rejecting widespread reports that Manchester United are close to a deal for the Internazionale playmaker.
Although no formal offer has been received by the Italian club, the United chief executive David Gill is reported to have been in contact with parties close to Sneijder, and to have received assurances that the player would be open to a move. And while the Inter director Marco Branca has insisted that the Holland international is "not for sale", there is a sense in Italy that the club's owner Massimo Moratti could yet be tempted to cash in on a player who is not ideally suited to the new manager Gian Piero Gasperini's preferred tactical system.
Ferguson, however, has rejected all suggestions of a move for Sneijder. "I keep reading about this, there's absolutely nothing at all to that [reports of United's interest in the player]," he told ESPN Soccernet Press Pass. "First of all I don't think Inter are prepared to sell him anyway.
"You get conjecture and you get speculation every week in newspapers unfortunately. And we have to answer these for some reason - why, I don't know, but we have to find a reason without adding insult to any particular club, or embarrassing any particular player. There's nothing we can do about it."
Sneijder, 27, is under contract at Inter until 2015, and if the Italian club were to sell they would likely demand a fee more than twice as big as the €16m they paid when signing him from Real Madrid in 2009. The player, too, would expect to at least maintain his salary of roughly £190,000 per week.
Those wages, though, have been cited as another possible reason why Inter might be prepared to do business, as they look to reduce their outgoings to stay in line with Uefa's Financial Fair Play requirements. Palermo's Javier Pastore, and São Paulo's Casemiro have been linked with the club as potential replacements should Sneijder depart.
