Real Madrid have offered Manchester United the chance to sign James Rodriguez for £60 million, according to the Daily Star.
The report claims that United have been approached by the Colombia international’s agent Jorge Mendes and the Premier League club are now giving it consideration.
The deal would be a new British record, beating the £59.7m United paid Madrid for Angel Di Maria in August 2014.
Rodriguez has struggled to secure a regular role under Zinedine Zidane this season and has started in only two of Madrid’s last six games.
