When I was a teenager in the late 1990s and early 2000s, I never missed boogieing down on weekends.

It was the era that saw a boom of down-south hip hop music. Damn! I had unforgettable moments in my life.

This thread is dedicated to all people who had great times in the mentioned era.

Please share your unforgettable moments and most importantly, the club bangers that made you stomp the dancing floor.

I start by this Noreaga/N.O.R.E banger "Nothin". This is a classic club banger; I would dance to this song even when I am 90 years old.

Hii ngoma ni kama ndo ilimtoa Ja-Rule. Ilitoka mwaka 1998 nikiwa junior in college.



Ngoma ya Juvenile - Back that azz up kutoka kwenye album ya 400 Degreez - nayo ilibamba kinoma. Hii ilitoka '98 lakini haikushika kasi hadi '99. Ngoma hii pamoja na "Ha" ndiyo zilikuwa 'breakout' singles za Juve.



Halafu kuna Bia Bia - ya Lil Jon feat. Ludacris, Too $hort, Big Kap, na Chyna White. Hii ngoma nilikuwa naitwanga sana kwenye '87 Chevy Caprice yangu - hahahaaa yeah, I used to drive a hooptie coz that's all I could afford at the time.



Moja ya ngoma za mwanzo mwanzo za crunk. Club watu walikuwa wanajitoa fahamu ikitwangwa.

Baada ya hii Lil Jon akawa mainstream!

Ila kwa nini umeamua kuanzia late 90s na early 2K? Turudi nyuma hadi late 80s - enzi za akina Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock, Schooly D, Redhead Kingpin, Kool G Rap, Masta Ace, n.k.
