Shirika la Umoja wa Mataifa la elimu , sayansi na utamaduni UNESCO tarehe 23 mwezi Novemba mwaka 2021 lilitangaza rasmi tarehe 7 Julai ya kila mwaka kuwa siku ya Kiswahili duniani.

Maudhui ya maadhimisho ya mwaka huu ni Kiswahili kwa amani na ustawi. Lengo hasa la maadhimisho haya ya mwaka ni kusongesha matumizi ya lugha ya kiswahili kama nguzo ya amani, na ustawi na wakati huo kuimarisha tamaduni mbalimbali

UNESCO ilipitisha uamuzi huo huko makao makuu yake mjini Paris Ufaransa wakati wa mkutano wa nchi wanachama wa shirika hilo

Azimio lilipitishwa bila kupingwa na utekelezaji wake unaanza mwaka huu wa 2022

In the 1950s the United Nations established the Kiswahili language unit of United Nations Radio, and today Kiswahili is the only African language within the Directorate of the Global Communications at the United Nations

The United Nations General Assembly, through its resolution 71/328 of 11 September 2017, on multilingualism, welcomed implementation of a day dedicated to each of its official languages in order to inform and raise awareness of their history, culture and use, and encouraged the Secretary-General and institutions such as UNESCO to consider extending this important initiative to other non-official languages spoken throughout the world

In that regard, the 41st session of the General Conference of UNESCO adopted resolution 41 C/61 that recognized the role the Kiswahili language plays in promoting cultural diversity, creating awareness and fostering dialogue among civilizations and noted the need to promote multilingualism as a core value of the United Nations and an essential factor in harmonious communication between peoples, which promotes unity in diversity and international understanding, tolerance and dialogue

The resolution proclaimed 7 July of each year as World Kiswahili Language Day. Kiswahili is the first African language to the recognized in such a manner by the UN

Kiswahili is a language that speaks to both past and present. With over 200 million speakers, it is one of the most widely used African languages, encompassing more than a dozen main dialects

Over the centuries, this Bantu language has emerged as a common form of communication in many parts of sub-Saharan Africa, in addition to the Middle East

This first celebration of the World Kiswahili language day will be held under the theme ‘Kiswahili for peace and prosperity’

The mission of the annual celebration is to promote the use of Kiswahili language as a beacon for unity, peace, and enhanced multiculturalism

Kiswahili is one of the most widely used languages of the African family, and the most widely spoken in sub-Saharan Africa. It is among the 10 most widely spoken languages in the world, with more than 200 million speakers

The language is one of the lingua franca in many countries within East, Central and Southern Africa as well as in the Middle East. It is also taught across major universities and colleges globally

Jamani naomba tuwe realistic lugha ya kiswahili imesaidiaje Tz katika kupambana na umasikini tofauti na nchi zingine zisio tumia kiswahili manifaa ya lugha ya kiswahili ni yapi?

wengi wanaongelea umoja wa kitaufa na kutoa ukabila na Udini jambo ambalo naona bado sana udini upo umeshamiri tena sana Ukabila upo kwa % furani katika mikoa fulani

kwanini lugha zetu za asiri zime wa waawa ambazo zilikuwa sehemu ya utamaduni na maadili yetu, na faida ya kiswahili mie paka leo siioni labda kwenye siasa tu, watoto wanao zaliwa wengi hawajui utamaduni wao hawana maadili wana vitabia vya kiswahili swahili, kiswahili ni lugha ambayo ingebaki tu kwenye biashara na jeshini tu, ila sio ya academicians hapo ndo Nyerere alipo chemsha katika nchi hi.

Tuache upotoshaji kuhusu lugha ya kiswahili, lugha hii ilianzia pwani ya Afrika Mashariki yaani Lamu Kenya, visiwa vya Unguja mpaka pwani ya Tanganyika, pia kipo Kongo ya DRC. Kupotosha kuwa kiswahili ni lugha yetu haitusaidii chochote kwani hatuwezi tukakiuza na kujipatia pesa wala sifa.

Kiswahili ni lugha adhimu na muhimu sana kwa dunia ya sasa.
Waswahili wanasema "Watu hawawezi kukuita dhaifu bila kuwapa ridhaa ya kukuita hivyo". Kiswahili kimekataa kuitwa dhaifu, kimekataa unyonge.

mahakama zetu bado hazitoi hukumu zao kwa kiswahili bado wameng'ang'ana na kizungu!!!

najiuliza hizi mahakama haswa za juu zinahudumia watanzania au wazungu?!
licha ya sheria na kanuni mbalimbali kubadilishwa lkn wapi.
bado mwendo ni uleule wa matumizi ya kizungu zaidi!!
nadhani kuna tatizo kwa viongozi waliopewa dhamana juu ya kusimamia jambo hili.

Tunamuomba Waziri wa katiba ahakikishe haki za watanzania zinatolewa kwa Lugha yetu ya kiswahili na sio tafasiri kama wanavyo fanya sasa, kama Waziri atashindwa kilisimamia hili basi ni bora akae pembeni.

Watanzania wanataka kuona haki zao katika mahakama zinatolewa kwa Lugha moja tu ya kiswahili, tuache mbwembwe za kujifaharisha kuandika kizungu, mahakama wanapaswa waache kabisa unafiki juu ya matumizi ya lugha ya kiswahili, jambo hili lisimamiwe kikamilifu.

Waziri wa katiba na sheria simamia na hakikisha jambo hili linatekelezwa kikamilifu sio kama ilivyo sasa, ujanja ujanja mtupu, sijui ni dharau au ni kuwadharau wananchi!!! sielewi....maaana mahakama ni za watanzania.

Kila siku tunaona Hukumu au maamuzi yanayotolewa na mahakama za juu yakiwa yameandikwa lugha ya Kiingereza bila hata kujali!!! hii inathibitisha kuwa vyombo vyetu bado havipo tayari kupokea mabadiliko.

Lakini ifahamike kuwa vyombo hivyo; Polisi, DPP pamoja na Mahakama ni mali ya wananchi wa Tanzania, hivyo vinapaswa viwahudumie watanzania kwa kutumia kikamilifu lugha ya Kiswahili.
