Tanzania today is a lawlessness place. We have developed a habit of negligence. We don't like to obey laws set by ourselves through members of parliament or follow rules and regulations on how certain things should be done. We do things the way we like. I can bet that what set off those bombs was negligence.
Until such time when Tanzanians learn to do things the way they are supposed to be done we will see more calamities, not in only in the form of bombs. We need to live by following laws, rules and regulations. No one should be above the law. Drive in Dar and you will see how chaotic it is. Motorists do not follow any of the known traffic laws - they overtake on the right and on the left. If you drive upcountry Traffic Police will only stop you and ask for a bribe or ask you to pay a fine if you are an ordinary citizen. Government vehicles, army vehicles, those owned by members of parliament, etc. are exempted!!!! That is the fallacy of our laws in Tanzania. Laws, rules and regulations are for the downtrodden only.
We must blame our leaders. Past and presnet for the problems we are experiencing. Their laissez-faire attitude is costing our country. slowly it is becoming a country most of us would not like to live in. We would like to go and live in other countries where people live in a civilized manner. Let us save this country and make it a nice place to live in.
Thanks comrade, you are very right.
These charecteristics (bolded red) represent a typical situation where THERE ARE NO
LEADERS!. In any society without leaders there will be such characteristics. We have figures on the higher level but there is a lack of the real
LEADERSHIP, and as a result anybody does whatever he/she wishes (bolded underlined red). Negative effects of this situation are felt greatly by those at the lowest level, the majority, the poor,,,,,
According to the accepted norms (Laws and Regulations) of that society, a true leader sets a good example, a good leader not only says what he means and means what he says, he/she also does what he/she says and means, he/she lives the accepted norms.
We used to have leaders, may be they were not perfect but they were surely leaders, there was order in the society, and the country was respected globally. Blaming the top figures (bolded blue) will have good results only if they will feel it, and since they are not leaders, ,,,,,,,
LEADERSHIP IS A MISSING LINK!!!
