In May 1991, Air Tanzania leased a Ethiopian Airlines N767-200ER, 9 months later it was returned, then there was Alliance Air 1994 to 2000 with a single B747SP (Air Tanzania had 10%, Gov't of Tanzania had 5%), while SAA (South African Airways had 40%) and Uganda Airlines had 10% and the Uganda Government 5%, 30% held in trust.
