Well, my conclusions are not supported by any data; they are based solely on anecdotal observation.

I believe the powers that be would be in a much better position to know for sure whether or not there has been a spike in the issuance of bans.

But now compared to like two, three, or four years ago there has definitely been an increase of people getting banned.

Here lately I have noted some instances where the moderator deletes other members' posts just because he/she didn't like it when he/she was being cornered (without profanity being used or any other violation of the forum's rules).

I just don't remember such incidents happening back in the day.

Kusema kweli mi nadhani there could be a decrease. mfano: when there was only 5000 members, there would be an average of ban per day (just an example), sasa tupo 67000, if there is less than 13-14 bans per day it would mean that members are more disciplined or Mods are not moderating as they used to. Hata mimi sina data, nitaongea na admin to find out (and revert, nikipewa evidences)

Yeah...hapo ni stats tu ndo zita kata mzizi wa fitna. Ila sijui kama watawala wanahifadhi takwimu kama hizo.

I know a handful of people who can vouch for that. It's just not cool at all.
