I know people with so called strong faith are going to come at me for saying this but I strongly believe this. We are a nation of religious, tribal and ethnic diversity but we have one uniting factor which is being Tanzanian. It is time we saw each other as Tanzanians first and every individual can hold on to their faiths within their own hearts instead of imposing it on others. We fail to find great leaders because we narrow our options with trying to find balance. We fail to talk about facts and reality because we want to be politically correct. We are afraid to speak the truth because we know there is a group which won't listen to the truth but rather rally blindly behind faiths imposed to us by the same people who saw it necessary to divide us in order to conquer us. It is time we learned to be Tanzanians instead of Christian or Muslim, Tanganyikan or Zanzibari, Chaga or Sambaa, north, south, west or east. At the end of the day we are all just Tanzanians. As soon as we learn this then we can prosper as a people.
