So why did you choose Arsenal, Dani?

"I knew I had the confidence of the coach, which was very important for me from the start. I was aware of the responsibility that wearing this shirt entails and it was a tremendously proud moment when I decided to join Arsenal."

Great signings - still need a CB who can play this season, an out and out wing player and a LB ( wouldn't mind a RB who can deputize for Hector)

Nicolas Pepe's representatives have held talks with Napoli today over a possible £45million switch. Clubs including AFC, LFC etc have shown interest. However, neither side has made a firm move for Pepe and he is now likely to move to Napoli, if a deal can be struck. [@MailSport]

William Saliba talking to Arsenal:

“Yes it’s true, I got an offer from Tottenham. But to be honest, I never knew who they were until Tanguy told me he was signing for them. Arsenal are the biggest club in England and signing for them was my only intention“.

I’m afraid... Arsène Wenger has done it again! This shows that he was the architect of the love that many children have for @arsenal

The Gunners see the Ivorian as their top target this summer.
United have a 20% sell-on fee, causing Palace to overvalue the winger.
Their current asking price is £80 million.
According to the Evening Standard, Manchester United are behind the sky-high price of Wilfried Zaha.
When the Red Devils sold the winger back to Crystal Palace in 2015, they inserted a 20% sell-on fee as Palace had little cash at the time.
Now, the club wants to raise in excess of £60 million for the 26-year-old but is forced to increase it's evaluation to £80 million due to the clause.
If Palace's asking price is met, United would get a hefty £16 million paycheck.

Previously, reports claimed that Arsenal were ready to offer around £55 million plus a player on loan, which is just short of the £60 million Palace want to receive.
Do you think Zaha is worth £80 million?
