The Gunners see the Ivorian as their top target this summer.
United have a 20% sell-on fee, causing Palace to overvalue the winger.
Their current asking price is £80 million.
According to the Evening Standard, Manchester United are behind the sky-high price of Wilfried Zaha.
When the Red Devils sold the winger back to Crystal Palace in 2015, they inserted a 20% sell-on fee as Palace had little cash at the time.
Now, the club wants to raise in excess of £60 million for the 26-year-old but is forced to increase it's evaluation to £80 million due to the clause.
If Palace's asking price is met, United would get a hefty £16 million paycheck.

Previously, reports claimed that Arsenal were ready to offer around £55 million plus a player on loan, which is just short of the £60 million Palace want to receive.
Do you think Zaha is worth £80 million?

“I think I can learn a lot from Rob Holding. I love the way he plays and over recent months I’ve been getting closer with him. He’s a top, top bloke and he’s also had his struggles with injury just like me. He’s a great character on and off the pitch."

Raul,

''very pleased with the announcement today, many clubs were after Saliba, a lot of top clubs.. Level of intensity of the PL is too strong as he is too young to come in now' '

Raul

'' re Ceballos.. When I was at Barca I tried to sign him. He will contribute a lot this season with his talent and quality.''

Vinai

'' catalyst for all the changes is that the club has not been where it needs to be''

Pretty damming of previous regime

Raul says Ceballos had spent the last two weeks studying the senior squad, player by player.

Raul said when Emery first arrived asked if there was a technical director, he said there wasn't but they were working on it.

Edu asked what he thinks of the current Arsenal squad. Before he has a chance to answer a fan shouts out: 'Shit...buy some defenders...' Reaction from supporters here is mixed. Laughter but also hearty nods of agreement...

Edu ''.. Important to keep the players we have and we work very hard on new players.''

Interesting that Raul and Edu eluding that the players needed to get used to the managers system. Ergo.. Last season they didn't?

Q from floor

'' we have major centre back problems last season, will we see any new ones''
Raul' 'we have been having conversations, we look at the market. I've been doing it for 16yrs and this is a particularly hard window especially with inflation' '
IMG_20190725_214050.jpeg

Raul

''we will do our best, I want to make a point, Edu does not have responsibility in this window, his real job starts in September' '

RA:

This is a hard window. There is a lot of inflation. I don’t know how it is going to finish. I cannot promise you anything here except a consistent job and consistent work.

Vinai

There’s a lot of misinformation. Players we’ve been linked for months who we haven’t even spoken to. 85% of the articles there are not true.

Vinai:

I understand your frustration. Theres huge amount of change with objective of getting the club to get back to where we want to be.

I don’t recognise this number £40m. We never talk about how much money we’ve got. We can’t go into negotiations with them knowing what we have.
