Now, the club wants to raise in excess of £60 million for the 26-year-old but is forced to increase it's evaluation to £80 million due to the clause.
If Palace's asking price is met, United would get a hefty £16 million paycheck.

Previously, reports claimed that Arsenal were ready to offer around £55 million plus a player on loan, which is just short of the £60 million Palace want to receive.

This is a hard window. There is a lot of inflation. I don’t know how it is going to finish. I cannot promise you anything here except a consistent job and consistent work.

There’s a lot of misinformation. Players we’ve been linked for months who we haven’t even spoken to. 85% of the articles there are not true.

I understand your frustration. Theres huge amount of change with objective of getting the club to get back to where we want to be.

I don’t recognise this number £40m. We never talk about how much money we’ve got. We can’t go into negotiations with them knowing what we have.
