*Arsenal secure Monchi as director of football*

Monchi has agreed to join Arsenal in the summer, according to reports in Italy.

The Gunners made an offer to Roma’s director of football this weekend report Il Messaggero.

They say it will cost €3million for Monchi to break his contract with the Serie A side, but Arsenal are said to be prepared to foot the bill for the Spaniard.

MONCHI AMEAHIDI KUMLETA NICOLAS PEPE

Incoming Arsenal director of football Monchi has already started working on a number of summer signings at the club – and according to reports at Football.London, the Spaniard has already lined up one Arsenal target.

The Gunners have reportedly reached an agreement with Monchi, Roma’s current sporting director, who is expected to join this summer.

Monchi, who worked with Unai Emery at Sevilla is suggested to pushing to sign Nicolas Pepe.
