Giroud alitolewa kwa sababu Wenger anadhani kwamba kwa kuwa Giroud aliumia "ankle" kwenye mazoezi siku ya Ahamisi, basi angeweza kupigwa kiatu na ikaishia kukaa nje kwa muda mrefu na huku Danny Welbeck akiwa badi hajarudi.

Pili, Wenger alitaka Walcott ndie awe mshambuliaji wa pekee kule mbele kwa kutumia kasi yake, ingawa Walcott hakutimiza malengo hayo na akatolewa na akaingia Oxlade Chamberlain.

Alikuwa na options mbili kwenye hiyo interview: aidha angesema Per alikosea kufanya tackling akijua fika yeye ni mtu wa mwisho; au angesema sina haja ya ku-comment kuhusu kadi ya Per. Kama ulivyosema chief, na nilivyosema hapo awali, kuna thin line sana kati ya kufanya red card tackling offence na kinyume chake pale unapokuwa last man. Per kama beki mzoefu anafahamu hilo. Kama ulivyosema, Per angemwacha tu Diego akiomba Cech aweze kumdhibiti.
