ARSENE WENGER has claimed his side lacked maturity as they went down 2-1 to Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday evening despite dominating the match for long periods.

Wenger admitted that some of his side were not as fresh as they might have been heading into the game but maintains there is no excuse for letting a match they could have won slip away.

The Gunners boss praised Dortmund for their physicality, saying his team are yet to encounter anything similar so far this season, although he lamented his team's inability to get into their stride going forward.
Wenger also noted thatJack Wilshere struggled to play to the best of his ability following an ankle injury picked up in the first-half, giving him little option but to substitute the midfielder part-way through the second period.
The loss sees Arsenal equal on points with Dortmund and Napoli half-way through the group stage and Wenger admitted that the group remained both tight and difficult heading into the reverse fixtures.

The Gunners boss could not hide his disappointment after his side fell to their first defeat since August.
Arsene Wenger accused his team of being "naive and immature" after conceding a late goal to be condemned to a 2-1 defeat by Borussia Dortmund.
He also claimed Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski could have been sent off for elbowing Laurent Koscielny before his 82nd winner.
Wenger said: "We put ourselves on the back foot with the first goal, and were a bit naïve with the second goal. If you look at the number of saves our goalkeeper had to make and we conceded two goals, then we can only look at ourselves.
"We were not mature enough. If you cannot win a game then don't lose it. In the second half we were on top, but made it difficult by giving them the second goal.
"It looked like Lewandowksi could have been sent off. I haven't seen it well, honestly, and the referee was in a much better situation. I will have to look at it again."

ARSENE Wenger said this game was the acid test for his Arsenal side and he was right. Unfortunately for him, the Gunners failed.

Robert Lewandowski was the Dortmund destroyer, pouncing for the winner in the 82nd minute. A week after his Wembley misery for Poland, Lewandowski's volley handed Dortmund a priceless away victory in the Champions League ‘Group of Death'.
He said that his table-topping team had to prove themselves against the best, starting with Dortmund. That they did not will bring a reality check – and a big hurdle to overcome.
This result means Arsenal must avoid defeat at either Dortmund or Napoli and beat Marseille to progress to the knockout stages.
Borussia Dortmund brought their distinct brand of pressing football to the Emirates and for half an hour calmly suffocated Arsenal. When Henrikh Mkhitaryan fired them in front after 16 minutes a German triumph looked inevitable and it is to Arsenal's great credit that they fought back.
Mesut Ozil, so influential since his £42million move from Real Madrid, had one of his quieter games as Dortmund denied him the time and space he thrives in. He did come alive in the second half and created one great chance that Santi Cazorla cracked on to the bar.
The game was beautifully balanced: Dortmund still willing to commit men forward, Arsenal forced to play on the break.

Jack Wilshere insists he will be fit to play in Arsenal's Champions League and Premier League campaigns despite Arsène Wenger implying the England midfielder was weary.
"You could see he was not completely himself and that's why I decided to take him off," the manager said after the player took a knock.

Arsène Wenger's side show increased self-belief but were beaten by smarter opponents at the Emirates.

Arsenal's season had obeyed the law that says one good experience leads to another. With each victory the Gunners added points, style, confidence and hope in a future that had been threatening to pan out as the tale of Arsène Wenger's hubris.
It still promises to be more than that, but Borussia Dortmund interjected with a win that cast doubt on Arsenal's ability to overcome opponents of the highest class. There was a case for thinking Robert Lewandowski should have been dismissed for an elbow on Laurent Koscielny before he was able to score Dortmund's winner, but equally that goal showed Arsenal to be "not mature enough in situations like that", according to Wenger. The metronomic brilliance of Wenger's best teams is not fully restored.
But there have been glimpses of it in sweeping forward moves, audacious flicks and turns, and the playmaking of Mesut Özil in an increasingly Germanic construction. The Bundesliga, though, still holds the patent, as Dortmund showed 10 minutes from time when Kevin Grosskreutz crossed for Lewandowski to score unmarked at the far post.
Top of the Premier League and the pre-match leaders of Champions League Group F, Arsenal seemed ready for this more searching test – and were equal to it, before Lewandowski pulled away to cancel out Olivier Giroud's earlier equaliser.
The less optimistic Arsenal fans were probably braced for such a setback. The dark days are too recent for them to believe fully in the renaissance. They want wins all year round and a nice trophy at the end of it. The first cold-shower moment arrived when Aaron Ramsey – a symbol of the resurgence – tried to stage a dribbling exhibition across the face of his penalty box and was robbed of the ball. Dortmund scored through Henrikh Mkhitaryan – a surname to make reporters grateful that copytakers no longer exist.

Nikipata muda,nikiwa huru(hasa weekends) naupdate hata kama Gunners wameshinda ,kushindwa ama kutoka sare......That's what Bala does.....Sijawahi kulikimbia Jukwaa kisa Timu yangu imefungwa Chifu...
Sijawahi kuumia Arsenal , Juventus wala Yanga ikifungwa.....
Kufungwa, kushinda ama sare ni matokeo ya mchezo so hata siku moja siwezi kuumia.....
Anayeonekana hapa kuumia ni wewe Chifu ambaye Timu haikuhusu lakini kutwa kucha unakuja na mabandiko na machapisho kibao ya mtandaoni kuizungumzia Timu isiyokuhusu.....Kwa nini usiutumie muda na nguvu hiyo kuizungumzia Timu uishabikiayo Chifu.....
