Airtel will be another tragic failure of President Magufuli

I dont get it, if some regulations were violated all those days, they want either to remedy it or compensated...what is wrong with that?

if they are going to fail during the course that also will be okay at least they tried

we have been always blaming ccm and the govt for corruption contracts all these days....now someone is ON IT...we are coming up with very discouraging statements like this

You know for sure this is not about "tragic failure" it is about your grudges and malice that are hunting you

I absolutely agree with you Waberoya, we should be focused on the bigger picture. And this is where "upinzani" in the country seems to have double standards. These are the issues we have all along being complaining about for years and no action was taken. To not believe that it is happening and always expect failure is also wrong.

thieves belong to jail cells,how does one sit and negotiate with a thief?!!!!

This regime and their thirsty for "kikis", PR stunts,we all know that in the all airtel deals from,TTCL to zain,celtel,there were corruptions,

First bling all the officials who oversaw this deal to book,if no one has been jailed because of this,then there was no theft,and stop wasting our time,

And for godsake stop turnishing private companies names,these multinationals,have invested all of money,and provide employments,how do you burgain with those you claim stole your property,jail first your corrupt officials,then you may point finger to other,before that,shut up
Right !

There is nothing wrong with correcting past mistakes as long as this is done in good faith and for the benefit of the nation rather than for narrow political ends only. Rushhing to correct mistakes in some invesment decisions can be more damaging economically than waiting for more appropriate time. What is even more worrying to some citizens is the penchant to present to the public these so-called mistakes in a way that tends to disgrace and humiliate those who approved the decisions. It appears this is done purposely for political gain; to portray current rulers as patriotic liberators and the past ones as unpatriotic and good for nothing. But as someone rightly pointed out here, mistakes will always be done and indeed, by its cavaliar style of leadership the current regime is likely to commit even far more serious mistakes than have hitherto been seen. Let us just wait to seen.

It is another morning in a nation where wonders never cease;

Interestingly,Dr.Mpango has said it all;
They are going to the negotiating table to discus the future of Airtel which used to be so many companies,and we all know what usually happens when this regime goes to the negotiating tables,We lose!
It is not yet time but for sure we need results and so far all that we see is some kind of instability.

What are you negotiating with the thieves as you claim,Is it another Makinikia ya Acacia Saga?

Any way All the best on this one,

PBK

ubongokid.
This is a country of viva-wonders and nothing else!!!!.
It's another episode in a making being played loud and clear and end of the day we remain losers....! President Magu-fool appointed fools to work on foolish issues......!!!

We' re told that, Celtel was launched within TTCL as a subsidiary company using the same License from BRELA initially issued to Celnet being a Mobile company owned by TTCL. Then came the so called Strategic Investor MSI/DETECON purchasing 35% from TTCL. The investor used TTCL own Fund in terms of Billions to invest in Mobile business by changing the name from Celnet to Celtel but using same Business License.

After a good business performance with a good profit margin, Celtel decided to separate from TTCL!!!! Celtel Tanzania was joined to Celtel International with a promise of a share distribution at 60% and 40% to Celtel and TTCL respectively.
After some few years, the Celtel was sold to ZAIN which was then re-sold to Bharti Airtel.....!!!
The series continues.....!!!
Tanzania and her leaders are cursed to the core....!!!

God forbid and forgive.
