You could try out Badr 4/5/6 (myHD package) or even Eutelsat 7A (Europe-B beam). Tell us how it goes.

After update my srt 4950h with the latest software V3.20P and did factory set/default,I was caught in this situation but managed to have a solution.first of all start by...
SRT 4950H STEPS.
1,Press menu button
2,Go to USB Expansion
3,Select USB menu
4,Press yellow button to upload
5,Select upload all software
upload all software => SRT-Backup (not necessary)
upload data => channelist
upload key => softcam 1.key.
All your upload files will be stored in USB MENU >>> ALL or SOFTWARE.
Then you can install software and files>>> data channelist or softcam 1.key afterward.
After that start update software with the latest v3.15-20p software.When updating software it will start with SW Erase and then SW Write,on the first stage of "SW Erase" switch power OFF on the main switch and then ON after 2-5 seconds,the srt will start updating software...
1,SW Read
2,SW Erase
3,SW Write.
Your Srt will be left with the old software, mine was left with v3.09p after that process. Meanwhile you can use the one leftover or update your Srt with another software... v3.07p to v3.12p and follow the process of
upload data => channelist
upload key => softcam 1.key.
Then manual scan the missing channels of TPs 11617v or blind scan your receiver afresh.

Okay, now this is getting really weird. We have reports of receiving the Uganda Mux from Zambia, North Western TZ,
Western Uganda and here in Kampala. Can we have more reports please????
Obviously there is something Edson05 and Mankuri are not doing right to get the mux.

PROCUDURE FOR RESURRECTING STRONG 4922 DECODER
1).Load the software into an empty flash disk.
2).Insert the flashdisk in the decoder while the decoder is switched OFF.
3).Switch ON the decoder using the power rear switch.
4).Keep on pressing channel up button in front of the decoder until a blue menu appears on the screen.
5).The blue menu will have four options namely;
i) Usb download (auto select)
ii)Usb download(browse)
iii)Factory reset
iv)Quit
6).Use the channel up/down button to select usb download(auto select) option & the press the front power button to select.
7).The file will start uploading, wait until it finishes & the decoder will reboot.
8).Congratulations, strong 4922 decoder back to life!!.

I started with 240cm (8ft) PF dish and Stargold Fuji LNB with a PF dish scalar. You can get most good Digiturk channels with this setup except the tps carrying Nat Geo and Animal Planet which keep breaking. Later I bought a 180cm (6ft) offset dish with a very good twin LNB with conical scalar whose make and name I do not know as everything is in Chinese language. Check it out on page 396 my post # 7901 of this forum.
There is no way you are going to get Digiturk in Kampala with a 180cm PF dish. Try using at least a 240cm PF dish.
By the way, the Digiturk signal is stronger as you go eastwards. In Jinja for example, with a 240cm PF dish you can get all the good tps including the difficult 11618 V (Nat Geo) and 11535 V (Animal Planet). I imagine further east like Tororo and Mbale the signal is even better while using a smaller size dish like 180cm PF or 130cm offset.

Thanks Dejumbo for saving me from the urgony of buying a 180cm PF that wont deliver. Now i will turn my attention to the 180cm offset. Problem is they are not available here. any member with an idea of how i can aquire a 180cm offset, please advise. I can squeaze the budget to have it within the next 2 month.

Just use your receiver follow steps 1-5 you will upload all software => SRT Backup,but it won't help you coz Tp 11617v will remain without goodies.Just follow the magic way.

Now Members, i am thinking of converting my 130cm offset to either 150cm or 180cm. Is it possible? i saw some pictures of conversions but that was on 90cm offsets. I would just go for a new 180cm offset but is not readily available and am not ready to initiate importation unless all efforts to acquire one fails. Now am considering spending the extra cash on fabricating/Upgrading to a bigger dish. Those members who think i can do this, please share the measurements for 180cm mostly. The offset angle, height and diameter, focal length etc. i want to find a good welder to discuss details.
I am free tomorrow, so if i can get details today, this project can commence tomorrow without fail.

Vicwa, Mine is dead i just wanted to use the software of a working decoder to load into it to see what it will become of.The Strong Tech pple suggested a flash memory bootloader damage hence can not respond to normal reviving methods. If i use a PC tool it can upgrade properly, but wont boot, just blank. Please assit me if you can.

My bro, that is the reason for that BUD you see there. Your 90cm will not nab that bird in totality from where you are at. You will be able to nab the Africa beam but to be able to enjoy all the goodies, think of anything from 130cm offset or 180cm pf BUD and above.

Forget signal strength, what's the signal quality? I believe your azimuth is wrong, get that right first. Use your neighborhood's zuku and dstv dishes as a guide.

Used my neimbas D**V dish as guide and got multi****ce channells 285 of them. S80, Q90. Now directions 7E or 201 pliz.
