African Satellite World and Sat Gear

Hi Langas, while on north rift I would say you are very lucky.180cm and Str 4922 or Srt 4950 will be sufficient for you. With it while in the region you can comfortably nab the elusive channels on 7e Europe beam with lots of ease. All the troublesome channels you will get.You can also add top of 7e lnb one for 7west and at the lower add Amos 5.
Thats quite encouraging. all the three birds on one dish? Wow. Seems like I have my work cut out for me this May. Shida sasa ni kupata hiyo 180cm huku. Couldnt find it in all the sat shops in Eld. Guess I'll be roaming Luthuli Avenue soon looking for one. I wonder how much it costs over there. was quoted for KES 8500.00 in Eld by some guy that usually stocks it but is currently out of stock. FTA satellite hunting is proving to be quite a hobby. Loving it.

Voila with a 130cm, though my success was only academic and I was left reminiscing Reinhold Niebuhr's serenity prayer; turning my 130 to face East is out of question. The 90cm totally failed. I have a feeling an 100cm would bring them down because the signal was just peeping with the 90cm.
Félicitation! That's literally fruits of hard labor. Enjoy

Hey Vicwa thanks for this biswise info.

Just by gleaning through this post, I bet you must be their loyal agent.

... and obviously they'll give Z*k* a run for their dear money (given their Locals "fta offer?").

Loyal agent woohoo,I was in JF even before S/Africa Top Tv 📺 was bought by Startimes satellite Tv way back late 2013. Anyway hakuna matata.

Used my neimbas D**V dish as guide and got multi****ce channells 285 of them. S80, Q90. Now directions 7E or 201 pliz.

Great. That tells me you've got your azimuth right. 36E is one of the easiest birds to nab as it's more or less directly overhead in most of Kenya. To nab 7E or 7W, your dish will need to face the Western (sunset) direction. Use the MBC Rodriguez tp to track 7E and Fox movies tp to track 7W.

Where will we watch Mayweather and Man Pachiao tomorrow! I wonder! Don't tell me on D**v

Last evening I changed the old LNB for NSS 12 and the UG Mux disappeared. That is when I realised that the make of the old LNB is RT, which means it is an inverto black ultra (I think??). It is so old and scratched and has no other identification except the RT in raised writing on the side. With a cheap LNB, there was no locking on the signal on 90cm offset dish. We can therefore conclude that you need 100cm and above to pull the channels in with a standard universal LNB.

11161 V 10000
Intelsat 905 24.5°W
Biss Key : AD DA CE 55 ED 22 55 64. Is this bird receivable in kenya.

Nice job Bro and what a coincidence? I also have a client URGENTLY interested in the same setup (i.e 22w).

Why not share with me your quickie tips: dish size, etc. Hope ulitumia BBC tp for tracking purposes. Shukran.

I used 2.4m pf dish ,kindly use 3825H8950 hosting TBN,JCTV,TCC,$ SMILE OF A CHILD which happens to be trongest tp.Please don't tp used tp for WINNERS TV when hunting because its a FEED .Use EUTEL 5°W as a reference point (3649V2168) hosting TELESAHEL maximise then measure 11 CM below and lower your dish .3825H 8950 should hit green if there no obstruction in front then turn your dish a little bit to the left to minimise your signal and your good to go.

Hello Tony,
My Kiswahili is rubbish so I only understood the 1st sentence and allow me to challenge it. B**n subscribers have the option to re-subscribe for 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, ... ..etc. It's done in MENA. Some proof HERE.

:yo: Speaking of Inverto black ultra, any chance of acquiring one around town?
