The original thread has been retired. After over 6000 posts and 89,000 merging and re-merging of threads and posts it has become necessary to start with a new thread. As the final the final stretch of the campaign for the US Presidency is underway it is paramount for our contributions to be organised as well hence this thread. At the end of the Elections the two thread would be both retired and hence have a two volume collection of our discussions and contributions on this historic election.
Please do continue.
Capitol Hill, I would however caution everyone that we should not get carried away and Nyani is right in this respect. The election is on Nov 4th, until then many things can happen. I am for one cautious and beleive that the Obama team has to work as if we are 10 points behind.
I am also 100% that the GOP will try to find some game changer like engineer the semblance of a terrorist attack - do y'all rememb'r the anthrax scare? Eti alikuwa a lone scientist who was ' bitter and angry' . Apparently he committed sucide so now it's over and done.... Yeah right! So I never underestimate the GOP and they are now bleeding heavily!
Ona na wewe!! Dems wangekuwa kwenye White House sasa unge accuse GOP kwa ku engineer financial crisis....nyinyi liberals mnachekesha sana.
McCain won the debate, period. But debates rarely win you the White House. Go ask that wingnut with an ugly wife aka John Kerry. Afterall, people won't be talking about the debates after next week......
The Secret Service is following up on media reports today that someone in the crowd at a McCain/Palin event suggested killing Barack Obama, according to Secret Service spokesman Malcolm Wiley. The shout of "kill him" followed a Sarah Palin rant on Obama's relationship with radical Chicagoan Bill Ayers.
Sasa mbona una schizophrenia??? Unasema ameshinda debate, mara una-claim it doesn't matter alafu unamtaja Kerry as if your candidate just lost the debate. We sema tu ukweli babu yako kawaaibisha vibaya sana katika debate ya jana! Alafu juzi ile "Kill him" uli-shout wewe nini, Nyani? If so shauri lako! Wanakutafuta!!!
Debates hazimfanyi mtu ashinde uraisi wa Marekani. Kama hutaki jinyonge.
Remember, uchaguzi ni Nov.4 na sio leo, kesho, wala keshokutwa....
Lakini debates zinasaidia ku sway the undecideds. Debate hizi zimesaidia kuwadefine candidates. For Obama the comfort level ya wapiga kura imeongezeka. He can be trusted.
Apparently Kerry's sweep in '04 didn't sway much......
