US Election Coverage 2008

US Election Coverage 2008

(CBS) In a sign that the race for president has returned to about where it was before the first presidential debate, the Obama-Biden ticket leads the McCain-Palin ticket 47 percent to 43 percent among registered voters in a new CBS News poll.

The Obama-Biden ticket led by a wider margin, nine percentage points, in a CBS News poll released last Wednesday, before Joe Biden and Sarah Palin faced off in the vice presidential debate. Obama-Biden led by five percentage points on Sept. 25.

In the new poll, the Democratic ticket leads by 3 percentage points, 48 percent to 45 percent, among likely voters.

My take: Ohohohohohohooooo.....uhuhuhuhhuuuuuuu

Tatizo lako wewe na right wingers wengine ni kwamba mna flip flop. POLLS zinakuwa credible pale tu zinapowa favor nyie. Obama akiwa na wide lead ...wewe Nyani unaanza ku question.
We (obama-mania) are not freak out about the polls regardless..and we are very confidence that he's pulling through. Kwa mfano...Obama was down after the convention..did we cry out about the polling methodology? Naah...Sasa hivi tuko kwenye drivers seat...Are we talking about it? Naah.
So there you have it.

In all fairness, this is true on both sides....even Susu would agree (I hope)....

But what this hatred all of the sudden for Obama?

The reason I am saying the above is because I am listening to these right winger radios and these nut heads/ pin heads are so furious as if Obama has killed their children or Obama has f#$*K their wives..Sheesshs.

I agree with you, they think McCain is "entitled to presidency"

what i can see in the attacks is racial motives for McCain camp. I predict, sooner or later they will inject race as their last card during the dying moment. they'll call Obama all names to make him loose temper and get them a talking point. This is also a strategy for tonight debate to frastrate Obama and paint him as an angry person before the American people also to make him boycots the debate because they know today is the end for McShame's calls for town hall meeting with Obama as he always does, they know he will be fiercely defeated by Obama on issues tonight .

But Obama will prove failure to their strategy. He will be nice and good to all rethugs because at the end he is going to be President of United states of America which include these haters also.

I'm not sure I understand what you just said....

Mjomba wake Nyani (Rush Limbaugh) anawadanganya ma rednecks sasa hivi eti financial markets zina drop kwa sababu eti ziko afraid na chances za Obama kuwa next President.
Sad but true, I am sure there are so many "rednecks" buying this "slew" and Rush is cashing in $30 million a year.

The 2008 US Presidential election is going to either change America for good, towards progress where equal rights will not just be words on an act on paper but actionable item or it will retain its status quo and continue to bridge the gap between the generational ideas on how best America can be.

Just as how hard the fight is in Corporate America, the generational wars between Traditionalist and Baby Boomers on one team versus Genereation X and Y, so is the American political structure.

If Obama wins, his triumph will not just be about the blacks overcoming obstacles and freeing themselves from shackles of slavery and inferiority, it will be a generational win which will change not only the political land scape of America, but so are the attitudes of Americans , whites, blacks, hispanic, asian, rich, poor or average.

A win for McCain sadly will translate to business as usual, same ole, same ole even though there might no be harm with him winning!

Hivyo basi, Bwana Nyani as you are fighting against this historic moment, edelea kupooza Kavwasiye yangu!

We have Ohio, Pennyslvania, Florida and Virginia, all the states that are crucial to the Republicans.
