If you don’t want the west to intervene with your politics, dont depend on aid as part of your budget income.

Else your country is willing signatory of international policies such as ‘Sustainable Development Goals’, among other things listed in the goals is attaining democracy. Thus you can’t just get aid towards achieving MDG’s if you derail from that same mission.

Russia doesn’t contribute towards MDG’s they have little to say on our matters, moreover receiving aid equates to giving away soft powers to donors; an opportunity which can be seized to get you back in toe.

I agree but its almost all countries in africa that have to follow democracy rules just to maintain its budget, however recently nothing much has been supplied most african countries are deep in depts, citizens are lazy asf, contribute nothing to the economy but the ones with the loudest voices, its high time Africans to create there own wy of governing and stop hiding through donations and grants
