One of the best books any one could ever read without getting tired, its old but still not a relic of the past . Its application replenishes my soul and nourishes my face every day as my eyes trail along every single verse inspired by the spirit of God. Its more than a book, it accounts human life reflected in its past, its present and its future; and i guess this is what makes it very special than any other books perched high.

2. Apollo's Arrow: The Science of Prediction and the future of everything - By Dr. David Orrell.

I was just mesmerized by the author when he unraveled the poverty of science at its best, he asserts that scientists, governments, organisations and other people in the academia strive hard to make the science of prediction handy. They spend Billions of dollars learning and trying to predict the Weather, Financial Markets, International Politics and Global Economy at the End of the tether the results are always disastrous due to the Opacity of the future. Henceforth he vividly explains the major disasters that cascaded our world despite the fact that scientific predictions are the major themes of the day in this new millennium. In 2000 no body was aware of the Millennium Bug, Weather Forecasters in Venezuela were caught off guard by a devastating torrential rain which struct The city of Vargas for two days. Its one of the great book to read.

3. Conflicting missions: Havana, Washington and Africa 1959- 1976- By Pierro Gleijesses.

Cold War business as usual, but the author mainly spoke of the role of Cuban forces in the struggle of independence of countries in Southern Africa. The book clearly displays how Cuban armed forces and intelligentsia were able to punch above their size, despite the fact that at a time the Cuban economy was brutally ravaged by a barrage of sanctions arraigned by the United States and her allies deliberately aiming at crippling the fast growing Communist state within the Caribbean.

4. From Babylon to Timbuktu: A history of Ancient black races, Including the Black races. - By Dr. Rudolf Windsor

The author is good at imagining, perhaps he imagined too much. He gave an account of how the black race had influenced the world from the ancient past to the late antiquity. He believes that ancient Arabs and Hebrews were black people who were once proud of their heritage. Once in a book he dared to say that, at once the European Continent was the most backward, cold and the darkest place where firm civilizations could not thrive. He gives very powerful logical explanations but unfortunately his accounts are not purely anthropological; they are deeply ingrained from the observations made from theological perspective, to be precise Judaism, Christianity and Islam. And i believe that this is the main reason that this tremendous piece of work never made it to the Mainstream Academia.

5. Full Spectrum Dominance: Totalitarian Democracy in a new world order- By Dr William Engdahl

Dr. Engdahl speaks of the brutal Military doctrine The American Empire Adopted during and after the Cold War. In the book he exposes the most fascinating and yet dangerous chronicles The Pentagon has been pursuing in a superficial project called FULL SPECTRUM DOMINANCE f trying to control the whole world especially through containing the growing Russian Influence and placing an Iron wedge Between the Growing China threat and the rejuvenated Russian Military Prowess. The means and methods of waging war have been changed and C.I.A no longer clings in the old methods of Covert operations of assassinations and Sabotage, but it rather uses sporadic but yet very brutal and efficient methods like propagating The Colour Revolutions and Financing Global Terrorism.

6. The 6th Extinction: A Sigma force novel- By James Rollins

The novel is explaining how the tragedies of the past like can succumb our modern society. In the first Chapter the author bring Charles Darwin back to life, and explains how the search for knowledge nearly costed his life. He also speaks of how technology and great knowledge of the past is was lost in antiquity and that we don't have any special knowledge to shelter ourselves at the time of need.

7. The Hot Cold War: The USSR in the Southern Africa- By Vladmir Shubin

To me this is most balanced Book about African history to ever been written by the white man. He appreciates the efforts made by Africans during the struggle against colonialism. And in some early chapters he commends the brilliant efforts done by the African states of SADC in commissioning THE HASHIM MBITA PROJECT ON DECOLONISATION. He believes that African history can be written by anyone but The Best part of African History will only be written by African Scholars. The author of the was once a young Soviet Soldier stationed in African to supervise the Soviet Operations in the South.

8. Congo Exploration, Reform and a brutal legacy (Exploration of Africa, The Emerging Nations)- By Bruce and Becky Dorost-Fish

Written by Anthropologists who ask themselves questions like " If life emerged in Africa, And the Cradle of Mankind is deeply rooted within its soil, What can Africa offer to the rest of the world?". Years past an the Continent still clings behind, and even thous great light shines on humanity but Africa is Darkest of All Continent. Does this render African useless to the world? Or is Africa behind on the Matter of perspectives? What about the traditional knowledge on medicine and foods Africa can offer to the the modern world doomed by pestilence? What of African history, how should we view it? These are some pressing issues withing the framework of this book.


9. God's Undertaker: Has Science Buried God? - John Lennox

Its a vicious debate between Scientists and believers, the book covers the comments of the world's notable Academics.
Its very challenging and makes you think twice about the current position you hold on God.

10. The Third Way: The Renewal of Social Democracy- By Dr Anthony Giddens.

An English Professor who believes that despite the collapse of Communism in the world, European economies are still haunted by the ghost of Marx and his philosophies. Capitalism is good but at its best is very divisive and communism is very efficient but planned economy is a stumbling block to Market economy which is the main pillar of world economy. Henceforth at the crossroad between Capitalism and Socialism governments have found themselves to resort to Science and technology as the main driving force of our modern society. To Giddens total dependence on Science and Technology is wrong and bears great repercussions for the coming generations. As we all know unlike Capitalism and Socialism, Science is value free and therefore anything whether good or bad within the society can be justified for the sake of science. What should therefore be done? Should we return to total Capitalism of of the 20 Century or adopt Socialism and its elements of Command Economy just as suggested by Karl Marx? The Solution to this is the third way, Having both values of Capitalism and Socialism in the same system. Pursuing Markets forces yet having the society that cares for the people who are left behind. In this regard Socialism will only come to remedy the excesses of Capitalism, like adding more emphasis on THE STATE OF SOCIAL WELFARE.
