Here we go....Tangu hii thread imepandishwa, makamanda wanaruka na kukanyagana. Hawana hoja, hawana data.
Wamepewa takwimu, wamehamia kwenye vijarida vya mtaani kuwa vina facts.
So I will respond with straight forward Numbers that can be verified by anyone interested. After this it's fair to expect anyone opposing to bring numbers and stop quotes opinions of opinions!!! Is that fair?
All my numbers will be from 2 sources and easy to refute or accept. Both are official government of Tanzania publication;
1: Bank of Tanzania Quarterly Economic Bulletin May 2016, which contains the March 2016 External Sector performance statistics on Page 8 - Table 4.1 - Current Account Balance
Table 4.3 - Goods imported details.
Quote from Section
*The value of goods imports fell to USD 2,067.6 million from USD 2,650.2 million recorded in the quarter ending March 2015. All major imports decreased, except for fertilizers and industrial raw materials (Table 4.3). A significant decline was recorded in the value of machinery, food and food stuffs, building and construction, and transport equipment. Oil import, which account for the largest share in goods imports, declined by 3.2 percent to USD 738.0 million as result of a fall in volume as well as decline in prices in the world market.*
