IT na CS ni tofauti,asomae pure CS achana na za magumashi ni sharti awe kasoma advanced mathematics na physics cause ndani yake kuna electronics,data structure & algorithms,Mathematics(achana na basic wasomayo hata accountants na IT).
Kwa ufupi CS inaimeza IT ie aliyesoma CS ana uwezo wa kufanya almost kila afanyacho aliyesoma IT and the vice versa is ~

Its Clearly that most of those wachangiaji wa hii sredi ni Pro CS. Me sijasomea makitu hayo lakini kwa kanoleji kangu hapa mleta maada unless he reffered CE maana there is slight different kati ya IT na CS. Unless u make comparison with Computer Engineering

Lakini IT wa networking ndo ataweza kuikonfigure router ya Cisco ambayo inatumia hii algorithm ili network traffic iende kule inapotakiwa kwenda, pamoja na kwamba huyu IT hawezi kuiimplement hiyo Algorithm na anaijua kwa juu tu jinsi inavyofanya kazi.

Same kwenye Database CS atakuwa anajua Set Theory ambayo ndo root ya RDBMS zote lakini hatajua kutokana na elimu yake jinsi ya kuadmin MS SQL Server.

Hizi ni skills mbili tofauti na zote muhimu, bila CS kutakuwa hakuna IT na bila IT CS itakuwa haina practical application nyingi.

Aliyechukua IT anaweza kujua kila kitu akijuacho aliyechukua CS lakini hilo zaidi litakuwa ni product ya juhudi zake binafsi tofauti na mwenzie wa CS ambaye inakuwa kwenye curriculum.
Ukisema CS hawezi kuadmin SQL Server na kufanya networking unakosea pakubwa kwa sababu CS na IT wote wanasoma networking lakini IT hawasomi 4GL's (kama Sql queries)ambazo ndo key katika SQL Server administration for defination and manipulation hata wakisoma huwa ni optional.

mi ntaungana na jamaa moja aliyesema inategemea na chuo mara nyingi, afu nimeona watu wa CS wako arrogant sana humu ndani wanaamini they can do better than the IT guys, Nimesoma CSE (computer science n engineering), i can tell you kua you might be good in theory lakini that doesn't mean you can be a better programmer, software engineer, a better system admin etc. Kati ya fields ambazo effort ya mtu ndo inamtoa ni hii ya computers, anyone can be anyone, utasema unasoma datastructures na algorithms, zilizopo online na ambacho profesa anafundisha hakuna kipya, vitu kama programming low level access ya machine, anyone can learn that from books au online na akawa even better kuliko aliyechukua degree, that's the challenge kwenye CS na IT, unlike vitu kama Medicine lazima ukae darasani, huku its not really necessary, labda sehemu chache hardware part vitu kama Logic design n circuits utahitaji vifaa laboratory, hesabu complex sanasana utazikuta kwenye computer graphics na vitu kama robotics.. Na istoshe CS graduates wengi huingia kufanya kazi ambazo ni za watu wa IT, sasa wote naona kulekule tu...
