Tension in Mombasa as Al-Shabaab suspect Rogo killed

Two policemen feared dead in Kisauni grenade attack

Two policemen were feared dead after youth protesting the killing of fiery preacher Aboud Rogo hurled a grenade at a contingent of the officers in Kisauni, Mombasa.

Sixteen other officers were rushed to hospital after suffering injuries during the latest incident at Mwandoni Tuesday.

Earlier, the youth had set the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) Kisauni on fire and vandalised the parish minister's house.

The unruly mob stole, among other things, at least 100 bibles.

Twelve people were arrested in Mombasa during the confrontation between police and rowdy youth.

Ten were bundled into a police van at Majengo area while two others were taken into custody near Msikiti Musa in the restive town.

THis discussion is too serious for the kind diatribe it has been reduced to be.
Here is my theory based on the evidence on the ground. Sheikh Aboud was killed by Al-Shabaab. This is why. Since last October when KDF invaded Somalia, to destroy Al-shabaab, Kenya has suffered a series of grenade attacks in public places blamed on Al-shabaab, operatives and sympathizers in the country.

The purpose of the attacks was ti intimidate Kenyans so that they pressure the government to withdraw its forces from Somalia. That failed. Then this year, a number of churches and and church meetings were attacked by the same goons. Again this did not provoke the kind of outcry Al shabaab was looking for. And the Kenyan Military was surely closing on them.
Then Al-shabaab , the evil force that it is, had to target one of their own, Aboud Rogo who allegedly had links with Al-Shabaab. Being a cleric and an influential personality, his death would provoke violent response from his supporters.
News reports have it that the Youth today were attacking anyone and everyone. The youth burned Churches and other property. They also attacked a Police truck with a hand grenade. Apparently the killers of the Sheikh are still around Mombasa working to provoke more violence.
Apparently, the idea is to provoke violence in a larger scale so that in the Coast province so that Public outcry would force the government to withdraw from Somalia and thus save Kismayu and Al shabaab, the shame of annihilation. Just a thought

Jamani hali sio yenyewe kabisa Mombasa...
nadhani serikali imeshindwa kumanage hii crisis
Nina ndugu yangu from M'sa anasema ataondoka kwa siku kadhaa
they don't support the violence, the looting and killing,
they acknowledge the youth right to dermonstrate their anger
sababu they are always marginalised by the government (as muslims).
Yani ukisikiliza viongozi kadhaa wanavoongea
unaweza kuhisi kuna sauti ya uamsho ndani yao...

Mr Rogo was travelling in this minibus with his family when he was shot dead by "unknown people", police say. His supporters allege that he was the victim of a "targeted assassination" and blame the authorities.

Wao ndo magaidi wakubwa duniani

Wakuu, ishu sio dini.

Ab-Titchaz.

The muslim religion does not teach tolerance towards christians as the Christian teaches tolerance towards muslims. The key reason for enemity is that christians claim that their way is the only way to God and everyone should be a christian while muslims claim their's is the only way to God and everyone should be a muslim, muslims further teach to despise the non believers. If these two religions did not exisit there would be more peace in the world. Question. Is there only one God? I say no. One God would not devide people to this extent. The christians have their God and the moslems have their's. Both God's seem able to take care of their people - if indeed they are the ones who do so, as even those with neither of the two Gods seem to be doing well, e.g the hindus, budhists and atheists.I always say the God of muslims and the God of christians should come out openly and solve the problem once and for all as their fanatical followers are unable, but the Gods have refused to emerge from their lofty thrones and say something. Only their human representatives who hardly know, heard from or even seen their bosses. Two superbly written books continue to cause all the strife. The enemity shall continue until good islamic leaders come out and openly preach tolerance. After all both sides have had hundreds of years to prove beyond reasonable doubt what they teach but have they?

Mimi sijaielewa serikali ya Kenya!Huyu jamaa si alikuwa ana kesi mahakamani?Sasa kwanini wanamuua tena jamani au haiamini mahakama zake?
