The Special Forces Command (SFC) has been crowned champion of the 2nd Edition of the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Inter-Forces Drill Competition held at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
SFC secured the top prize of UGX 50M after an impressive performance, improving on its showing in the inaugural competition in 2025, when it finished as first runners-up and won the Best Creative Drill award.
The 2025 competition was won by the Internal Security Organisation (ISO).
SFC’s victory in the 2026 edition marks a significant turnaround for the formation, which has now moved from runners-up to overall champions.
The competition brings together Uganda’s security forces in a display of precision, discipline, coordination and ceremonial drill skills, with participating units seeking to demonstrate their standards of training and professionalism.
