Real Madrid and Chelsea reach agreement over Morata transfer

Alvaro Morata will soon leave Real Madrid's pre-season training camp in Los Angeles to fly back to Europe and confirm his move to Premier League club Chelsea.

As MARCA reported on Wednesday morning, the striker was faced with either the Blues or AC Milan in his search for first-team football and Antonio Conte's commitment to having him as Chelsea's star striker won the day.

Los Blancos have reached an agreement with the London club for a fee of around 80 million euros in exchange for Morata's services.

All that is left now is for the player to sign the contracts and the transfer be officially announced by the respective teams.

At that price, Morata stands to become the most expensive Spanish player in the history of the game, edging out Fernando Torres' own move to Chelsea back in 2011.

Of course, the English champions already boast five Spaniards in their squad at this moment in time, although that would drop down if Diego Costa leaves, with Morata thought to be his replacement.

In Morata and James, we have lost very good goal threats and deliverers. With Cristiano losing his touch by the second, and Benz inconsistent, it's going to be quite testing to an already very demanding season. I can't see RM signing a better back up than Morata.
Perez amekuwa smart sana kwenye usajili kumbuka James,Danilo & Morata walikuwa backup players lakini Perez amewauza kwa jumla ya € 120 m,Mbappe atatua Real Madrid

Many people are over-reacting in social media. As the report said, Zidane did everything in his power to convince both James and Morata to stay, but they both want to be starters so Zidane couldn't do anything. So sad to see them leaving, but for the players who want to leave on their will, this is great bussiness from Pérez. We need replacement ASAP, otherwise with that BBC mofos everything will be wrong the whole season. I rember when Ancelotti was depending on them.

Usisahau kuna Mariano pia 8m kwenda Lyon, na Diego Llorente 6m kwenda La Real. Ila Mbappe haji Real Madrid msimu huu. Tatizo la Mbappe sio hela wala Morata, coz Morata alikuwa na role ya bench player. Mbappe atakuja kuchukua nafasi ya mmoja wa BBC, kati ya Cristiano au Bale next season.

Man, only a joke would blame Zidane for anything. The club made it clear earlier that it intended to keep everybody bar Coentrao, but it wouldn't hold any player against their will. I don't trust BBC one bit, and I think this is their last season.

MARCA: Isco has been one of the most determined faces amongst the squad in LA, with a clear goal of improving his strength & endurance. On Tuesday, after the team bus returned to hotel, a car waited behind for Isco, who spent extra time in the gym for weight training. Whilst James' departures opens up further space, Zidane's rotation policy emphasises why Isco must continue to impress.

It's highly reported Ceballos won't get the number 10. Isco is happy with his No.22, Modric not interested anymore, it could be given to Asensio.
