Real Madrid C. F. and Real Betis Balompié have agreed the transfer of Dani Ceballos, who has signed a six-year contract with the club.

The player will be unveiled on Thursday the 20th of July, at 1:00pm, in the presidential box at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Dani Ceballos will then take his first steps on the pitch at the Santiago Bernabéu in a Real Madrid shirt and face the press in the media room.

On Friday the 21st of July, the player will join the team on their pre-season tour of the United States.

Modric returns thinner than ever

Along with the rest of his Real Madrid teammates, Luka Modric returned to training this week, but he was perhaps too ready for demanding fitness coach in Antonio Pintus, having lost weight over the summer.

Just last week the Croatian appeared relaxed on the cover of MARCA, posing in his hometown of Zadar with the clear Adriatic Sea in the background, ready to succeed again with Los Blancos.

"When you win, you want to win again, more and more, and that ambition leads you to take care of yourself," said the Croatian.

However, his holidays has not just been lying in the sun, as the creative midfielder is one of the individuals who has returned to the squad underweight, two kilos under his preferred size to be exact.

Pintus will now work to help the 31-year-old rebuild his strength, despite the player already being obsessed with staying fit.

The superstar must do all he can to keep his place this season, as Marcos Llorente, Isco, Marco Asensio and fellow countryman Mateo Kovacic continue to fight for his position in the starting lineup.

Currently training at the facilities at UCLA in California, Modric is well aware that the work must continue, as he finished last season at his top level, despite overcoming two injuries.

The former Tottenham Hotspur player is conscious of the talent in the squad, and has already spoken to Zinedine Zidane regarding his fitness and how to make the most of his career, with his intention being to retire in the Spanish capital.
