Will Barcelona give Real Madrid a world champion's guard of honour?

With the LaLiga calendar scheduling Barcelona's visit to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu for the first game after Real Madrid return from the Club World Cup, the Catalans might have to suffer through welcoming their rivals with a guard of honour.

The final of the Club World Cup is set for December 16 and the season's first Clasico is down to be played on Wednesday 20, though Los Blancos would then ask for it to be moved to Thursday 21.


Should the LaLiga and European champions win the competition, Barcelona could have to applaud them out onto the pitch ahead of the match.
