Young Spanish duo Borja Mayoral and Omar Mascarell are both wanted by German side Wolfsburg on a permanent deal.

While midfielder Mascarell joined Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer, Wolfsburg have gone straight to Real to discuss a deal as the 24-year-old can be re-signed by the Madrid club for €4m, at which point a fresh transfer can take him to Volkswagen Arena.

In addition, Die Wolfe are keen on making Mayoral's loan at the club into a permanent stay, having been convinced of his abilities despite limited playing time.

Real will only allow the striker to move on if they can guarantee a repurchase clause in his contract, much like Alvaro Morata's switch to Juventus.

A deal for the pair is expected to cost Wolfsburg around €25m, with Mascarell impressing at Frankfurt in his 1st Bundesliga campaign. [Source Marca]
