It pretty much works, depending on the good writing that can convince the clients, good design, as well as a good marketing stratergy.

I've seen some folks use dala dala rear windows or boda removable boards for cheap outreach, but printing small flyers or posters can still do the trick if placed well. Also saw someone combining that with advertising trucks for sale—parked at busy junctions with posters on the sides. You kill two birds with one stone.
