Obama's - Post Election Thread

Obama's - Post Election Thread

I wish them all the best.

If the word "Negro" was not part of the audio message, then the media reports are misleading. The audio message insulted Obantu but did it insult his race or all Bantus? I don't believe a racial epithet or slur was used since the word "Negro" was not spoken. Obantu supporters are quick to turn every criticism of Obantu into a racial issue.

It would appear like these Clintons are unvoidable in the Democratic administration. But I guess Obama will have tough time to argue a case for having brought change he promised in 2012 elections.

Hii si kweli hata kidogo, kumbuka Democrat ni chama na Clinton is the recent democratic president before the current president elect. Whilst it is true that Clinton did appoint some of these pple but wengine walikuwepo kwenye serikali before yeye kuwa rais. And what Obama is now doing is to give a job to the able ones and maintaining the government meant to be governed by democrats.

Na change amabayo Obama alikuwa anaizungumzia was it on the personnel au policies?????

"All in all change has come to America"

The President Elect Weekly address promises 2.5 million jobs by 2011.

Hivi Obama ndiyo angekuwa Raisi wa kenya ingekuwaje maana duh kenyans wamechukliwa ushindi wa obama kama vile ndiyo raisi wao kuliko hata American wenyewe daaaaaah!...hembu check this out!!.....

...Thubutuuuuuu...

..Clinton aliteua watu wapya kabisa. ndiyo maana kuna watu wanaitwa Clintonites.

..hata mimi naona so far there are too many Clinton's ppl.

..hivi Ted Kennedy,John Kerry, na Tom Daschel, the anti-Clinton wing of the democratic party which propelled Obama to the Presidency, wanapendezwa na mwenendo wa Obama sasa?

jokaKuu,
Ngoja kabinet nzima ikamilike kwanza then we can judge how many Clintonites are in Obama's cabinet. Anyway let's not rush to judge mpaka cabinet nzima ijulikane.

If indeed Hillary will be in the Obama administration, then he will prove himself to be more of a fad than anything else.More about conciliatory politricking than actual change.

I went to a "Last Poets" concert in the midst of Obamamania, and they were on stage saying "we are about change, real change, not the Barack Obama change" and at that time I thought them to be delusional.

But with Hillary as SOS, they will be validated.

Kitila Mkumbo na Pundit,

Heshima natanguliza.

Given the circumstances that America is facing, President-Elect Obama needs experience to counter the wave of 'unfortunates' coming his way.As it is, I see that people are fixated on a myopic look at the word change rather than the whole picture of what an inclusive America wants changed.Such ideologues wanna cut President-Elect Obama into pieces for not going in tandem with what they want or perceive. Most of these characters are found in the left wing of the Democratic Party.

People wanted change from the Presidency of George Bush first and foremost and that was achieved.Secondly they want a change in the economic situation and how Obama does it, is not the crux of the matter.By picking up his economic team and giving the President-Elect National address, most people see him as taking a leading role cause the message resounded. However having seen the trend of things for the past few months I don't think we have reason to celebrate but if anything work harder. And thirdly they want an end to the War in Iraq which I believe President Elect Obama will deal with decisively after he handles the economy.

Of all Obama's picks up to now, I believe it is the pick of Hillary that seems to be a gamble and the woman has to work extra hard and maybe pull off Bill's reservoir to get things done on the international front.I believe President Elect Obama saw this and wanted to use Bill but in an indirect way and that is why Bill Clinton said himself " I will do everything to make sure this thing works"

Kwa hivyo right now its a mater of getting things done for the American people by pulling on all resources possible. If it were possible the man who have woken FDR himself from the grave to get tips about job creation. The man is placing his premium on drawing from experience.

As the New York times article puts it... "Mr. Obama is planning to govern from the center-right of his party, surrounding himself with pragmatists rather than ideologues."

mkipata m'da article nzima ipo hapa... http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/22/us/politics/22assess.html?_r=2&partner=rss&emc=rss&oref=slogin

Sijui kama Wakenya wangemkubali inawezekana lingemtokea lile lililomtokea Richard Leakey

LOL, didn't Obantu say something to the effect "change doesn't come from Washington, change comes to Washington"? For starters he is a senator in Washington so that should have sounded the alarms to his supporters that this man was full of BS. Then he goes to Washington and his cabinet selections so far do not reflect change. So how did win the election while campaigning on empty rhetoric? See below.
