BOB MARLEY lyrics - Ride Natty Ride
..............
And no matter what they say-ay-ay-ay,
Natty de deh every day. yeah!
Natty Dread rides again,
Through the mystics of tomorrow,
Natty Dread rides again:
Have no fear, have no sorrow, yeah!

All and all you see a-gwan
Is to fight against Rastaman.
So they build their world in great confusion
To force on us the devil's illusion.
But the stone that the builder refuse
Shall be the head cornerstone,
And no matter what game they play,
Eh, we got something they could never take away;
We got something they could never take away:

And it's the fire (fire), it's the fire (fire)
That's burning down everything:
Feel that fire (fire), the fire (fire);

Only the birds have their wings, yeah!
No time to be deceived.
Oh, brothers, you should know and not believe:
Jah say this judgement - it could never be with water,
No water could put out this fire (fire):
This fire (fire), this fire (fire),
This fire (fire), a yaga y'all! Ride, Natty, ride!
Go deh, Dready, go deh,
'Cause now the fire is out of control,
Panic in the city, wicked weeping for their gold!
Everywhere this fiyah is burning,
Destroying and melting their gold,

Destroying and waisting their souls.............

....... So if you are the big tree
We are the small axe
Ready to cut you down (well sharp)
To cut you down.........

How can you be sitting there
Telling me that you care -
That you care?
When every time I look around,
The people suffer in the suffering
In everyway, in everywhere.

Say: na-na-na-na-na (na-na, na-na!):
We're the survivors, yes: the black survivors!
I tell you what: some people got everything;
Some people got nothing;
Some people got hopes and dreams;
Some people got ways and means.............

Only the Poor Man A Feel IT.
There was never a middle class, we are either poor or rich. When you have to bother about paying a bill there is no middle in that. Only one thing to all this, the poor and the rich die there is no middle man in that either. so the poor man feel it but only for a time. The ladder awaits everyone, those going up and those coming down.

Everyone is crying out for peace yes, None is crying out for justice (2x)

(CHORUS)
I don't want no peace, I need equal rights and justice (3x)
Got to get it, Equal rights and justice

Everybody want to go to heaven, But nobody want to die
Everybody want to go to up to heaven, But none o them (2x) want to die

CHORUS
(Just give me my share)

What is due to Caesar, You better give it on to Caesar
And what belong to I and I, You better (2x) give it up to I

CHORUS
(I'm fighting for it)

Everyone heading for the top, But tell me how far is it from the bottom
Nobody knows but, Everybody fighting to reach the top
How far is it from the bottom

CHORUS

Everyone is talking about crime, Tell me who are the criminals
I said everybody's talking about crime, crime
Tell me who, who are the criminals, I really don't see them

There comes a time. In everyman's life where he's got to face
The truth no matter what. We are coming to you father
With our sins and everything. To thank you

Those that smoke marijuana, Wanna thank you father
For making it grow internationally, They wanna thank you lord
Even though police cut it down, Sometimes they burn it down
But it grows again. Thank you father

Chorus
We wanna thank you father. For everything you've given us

Nations that oppress other nations. Wanna thank you father
Even though it's painful to be oppressed. But they thank you...
For making them strong

Politicians thank you father. For making them to be able
To lie with a straight face. While the nation cries
They wanna thank you lor.

Won't you help to sing these songs of freedom? 'Cause all I ever had, redemption songs,Ub40 Come Back Darling

Feel it in the one drop. Well, I still find time to rap
We're making the one stop. The generation gap
So feel this drumbeat. As it beats within playing a rhythm
Resisting against the system.

Ooh-we I know Jah would never let us down. Pull your rights from wrong
I know Jah would never let us down. Oh no! Oh no!

They made their world so hard. Every day we got to keep on fighting
They made their world so hard. Every day the people are dying

It dread, dread for hunger and starvation dread dread, dread on dread

Lamentation dread dread
But read it in Revelation dread dread
You'll find your redemption

And then you Give us the teachings of His Majesty, For we no want no devil philosophy
A you fe give us the teaching of His Majesty, For we no want no devil philosophy

Unaposikiliza huu wimbo, tafakali kwa makini.

Ukikaa na kulaumu POLISI, basi unakata majani badala ya MZIZI.

BOB MARLEY lyrics – Get up, stand up

Most people think,
Great God will come from the skies,
Take away everything
And make everybody feel high.
But if you know what life is worth,
You will look for yours on earth:
And now you see the light,
You stand up for your rights. Jah!

We sick an' tired of-a your ism-skism game -
Dyin' 'n' goin' to heaven in-a Jesus' name, Lord.
We know when we understand:
Almighty God is a living man.
You can fool some people sometimes,
But you can't fool all the people all the time.
So now we see the light (What you gonna do?),
We gonna stand up for our rights! (Yeah, yeah, yeah!)

Naona unanipata katika hizi anga. Maana Bob alikuwa ni zaidi ya Mziki maana anakuambia:
Eh, we got something they could never take away;
We got something they could never take away:

And it's the fire (fire), it's the fire (fire)
That's burning down everything:
Feel that fire (fire), the fire (fire);

Peter Tosh anaingia na ile AK47 yake ya GITAA anakuambia " Coming In Hot. Firin' some shot. Coming in red hot. It's a musical shot."

No sun will shine in my day today; (no sun will shine)
The high yellow moon won't come out to play:
(that high yellow moon won't come out to play)
I said (darkness) darkness has covered my light,
(and the stage) And has changed my day into night, yeah.
Where is the love to be found? (oo-ooh-ooh)

Won't someone tell me?
'Cause my (sweet life) life must be somewhere to be found -
(must be somewhere for me)
Instead of concrete jungle (jungle!)
Where the living is harder (concrete, jungle!)
.

Amandla....
