Manchester United host West Ham in today's EPL match, and here are 10 things we want to see in that game:
1. A win, 3 points and nothing but a win.
2. Attacking football, going forward - not scared of getting behind defenders.
3. Pace - With Lingard back in form, Memphis Depay working on his come back and Ashley Young supporting them in whichever wing-back position he'll play, let's get some pace, please.
4. The return of Matteo Darmian to form and speed - Matteo has had a bad couple of games - is it form or what? Either way, we are running short of defenders and hope today he can recover his form.
5. Juan Mata playing #10. The last time Mata was there, it was a toss up - however, of late, he's been very involved in midfield attack and he should hold quite well, not that Wayne Rooney and Ander Herrera are out injured.
6. Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin pairing - or Michael Carrick and Schneiderlin pairing; but not Basti and Carrick. The defensive midfield role requires lots of box-to-box play and for that, Morgan Schneiderlin does his job. The maestros lack the speed and energy to keep at it for so long. Plus with a match coming up Tuesday, it's good to rest them.
7. Anthony Martial in number 9 role... Not Marouane Fellaini. LVG, in his desire to ping the balls up front puts the Big Fella in #9 role at the expense of both Martial and the wingers - who are forced to cross high balls... No.
8. The pairing of Daley Blind and Chris Smalling in defence seems to be more permanent and fixed than Jones. These are powerful players who can make things happen. At the rate of of Jones keeps out, maybe it's time to make the pairing more permanent. P.S. The first time Blind & Mike were paired, it was one of those LVG madness moments (during the Summer tour) - however, whatever else, it seems Blind is strong enough and brilliant enough to should that responsibility.
9. More opportunities for youth players - McNair and Andreas Pereirashould be given some play time. I actually would root for Pereira coming in to support in #10 that The big Fella.
10. Enterainment - and by this, I mean -early goals and some late thrillers. Early goals make it easy for my ass to stop twitching for 70 minutes while late goals just give me a high for the next 48 hours.

West Ham too have few good
attacking/key players injured. Dimitri
Payet, Enner Valencia and Diafra
Sakho are all out. Just need to avoid
conceding and I think our young lads
will score a couple to win it.
