LVG's tactics: drink wine.

Football guru coach Klopp karibu darajani

Dear Mama, Thank you.
Because we see lot's of fathers in football, and appreciate them all, let's take a moment to appreciate mothers today. And because this is a football space, we appreciate Young's efforts all season and admit we've come to love AY18 much, much more.
-- To all our mothers who are with us or who've passed on. We love you and appreciate you.#weareyoungsters #happymothersday #GGMU

Today's issue: Mephis vs Januzaj for number 11.
The signing of Memphis Depay directly impacts Adnan Januzaj. For one, it's likely that Memphis will take on the #11 jersey, which Januzaj has been unable to live up to this season.
---
In his last home Match, Sunday, Depay scored a stunning free kick and received a standing ovation by the fans for a job well done. Januzaj, on the other end, finishes the season in a never ending slump. With a good first season and a lifetime opportunity to learn from LvG, things have not worked out for the Belgian.
---
Turning out more of a Nani than a Cristiano, Januzaj has been unable to flourish even in the U21s. Depay, on the other hand has improved from season to season, since he was 17. However, he's untried in the EPL. The odds are Depay will fit right into the team (most Dutch/Scandinavian, German and Italy players do, unlike those coming from Spain where physical contact is frowned upon) plus, he has all summer to train and get into rhythm with the team.
---
Finally, it comes down to having the right qualities for being excellent wingers. Wingers's first ability is their speed on the ball - both their legs and (quick) ability to read the game.
Their defining or match winning quality is either their accuracy at goal or their generosity to utilise opportunities created by their speed to help others score goals.
--- A winger needs these two qualities for balance and effectiveness. Since speed is given, let's explore Accuracy and Generosity and what it means:
Accuracy at goal is something like what CR7, Depay, Beckham and to a greater extend Giggs and Di Maria have/had.
Generosity is the ability to share the ball on goal/edge and to do it accurately: Beckham, Giggs, Young, Di Maria are/were and that's what was outstanding for them.
Depay has accuracy at goal. Januzaj had it last season, but it's diminished and he's too selfish to be a supplier.
---
Depay is 21, Januzaj is 20 and so no much to choose from when it's about their age. However, Depay is the youngest player to have scored more than 15 times in the Europe's top 10 leagues this season, with his tally now standing at 22 league goals.
--
Opinion: I'd give Memphis Depay #11 jersey. I think he can thrive in it. It might be a little bit too much for Januzaj, much like it happened with #7 for Valencia. What's your verdict?
