[h=1]Man United pay Ander Herrera’s €36m buy-out clause, done deal according to Cadena Ser[/h]
Having been linked with Manchester United for over a year now, and after being the centre of some crazy last minute shenanigans last summer, it appears Ander Herrera is finally heading to Old Trafford.
Spanish radio station Cadena Ser report late on Monday night that Manchester United have paid the buy-out clause to bring Herrera to England.
This clause expires on June 30, 2014 and it appears Herrera is Louis van Gaal’s first major signing to significantly improve the Manchester United midfield.
There is little other information given by Cadena Ser, but this radio station is known as a reliable source.
In addition, Radio Bilbao and El Larguero radio station are reporting the same transfer news and expect Herrera to be announced as a Manchester United player on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old is considered one of the finest Spanish midfielders in La Liga and is a significant statement of intent by van Gaal and Manchester United.
UPDATE: AS now add to the news outlets in Spain saying Herrera is done – confirming that the midfielder’s buy-out clause jumps to 40 million euros on July 1, 2014.

Ander Herrera: On verge of move to Manchester United

Manchester United are in advanced talks with Athletic Bilbao over the transfer of Ander Herrera.
Sky sources understand United are prepared to match the £28million buyout clause in the midfielder's contract.
United are aiming to get the deal - which would see Herrera sign a four-year contract - done by the end of this month as the buyout clause raises to £32m after July 1.
Herrera was the lynchpin of Bilbao's midfield last season as they finished in an impressive fourth place in La Liga.
He scored five goals in the campaign, but despite being one of the most impressive performers in domestic football, he is yet to break in to the Spain team.
David Moyes was reportedly targeting Herrera, 24, last summer, but failed to land the central midfielder.
His successor as Manchester United boss, Lous van Gaal, looks set to pull off the deal as he begins rebuilding the squad.
Herrera was born in Bilbao but came through the ranks at Real Zaragoza before joining his hometown club in 2011 on a five-year contract.

[h=1]Herrera arrives to complete Manchester United switch[/h]The Spanish midfielder was met at the club's Carrington training ground by Sir Bobby Charlton, to be shown around the premises with a £28 million move soon to be confirmed

Ander Herrera is meeting with Manchester United officials at their training ground in Carrington ahead of a switch to Old Trafford, Goal can reveal.

The Athletic Bilbao midfielder was met by Sir Bobby Charlton with a reception party at Carrington after he arrived in a white VW transporter before being shown around, along with his agent.

A £28 million transfer nears completion, with the Red Devils keen to do business quickly as his release clause would rise to around £32m on July 1.

Herrera is believed to have arrived in the United Kingdom on Tuesday and stayed in London before making the journey up to the North West, accompanied by his agent and friends. Much of the legal work to push the transfer through was completed at United's office in Mayfair on Tuesday night.

The midfielder's agent was cautious when questioned about the possibility of securing a move but told the press that "things were moving along nicely".

The party flew into Northolt on a private flight on Tuesday ahead of talks with United officials at the training base on Wednesday.

Herrera would be Louis van Gaal's first summer signing and would see the 24-year-old finally complete a move that stalled at the end of the summer 2013 transfer window under then-boss David Moyes.

He said goodbye to his Athletic team-mates before flying out from Spain, with United having offered a contract worth £145,000 per week.

Herrera ni average player!!!!!

Na sidhani kama alikuwa kwenye mipango ya babu yenu mpya!!!

Una uhakika gani hayupo kwenye mipango?

Unadhani hii yanga viongozi wanasajili bila kocha??

Athletic Bilbao announce they have rejected £29m bid from Manchester United for Ander Herrera

Athletic Bilbao have rejected an offer of around £28.85m from Manchester United for midfielder Ander Herrera.
Herrera was the lynchpin of Bilbao's midfield last season as they finished fourth in La Liga and was believed to have a £28m buy-out clause in his contract, which rises to £32m after July 1.
He scored five goals last season, but despite being one of the most impressive performers in domestic football, is yet to break into the Spain team.
An Athletic statement read: "Athletic want to announce that they have this week rejected an offer from Manchester United, of around 36m euros (£28.85million), for the transfer of the economic and federative rights of the player Ander Herrera."
David Moyes reportedly targeted the 24-year-old last summer with bizarre scenes in Spain on deadline day when three men claiming to represent United tried to negotiate the deal at the Spanish FA headquarters.
The negotiations broke down, with United claiming they knew nothing about the three men.
However, new manager Louis van Gaal has made a firm move for the player as he looks to rebuild the squad after last season's poor campaign.
Southampton and England left-back Luke Shaw could be the next target, with United having reportedly increased their offer for him to around £34m.
United had also been linked with a move for Ezequiel Garay, but the Argentine defender has this week agreed to join Russian club Zenit St Petersburg from Benfica.
