2017 Land Rover Discovery — The All new 2017 Land Rover Discovery has been spied for a few times now, and more details can be seen in the photos. Many people agree the new model is unlike their expectation with many things are considered as drawbacks. How is the new model shaped? Here is the update.

Until today, we haven’t received any official update on the engine under the hood. However, it is estimated that the SUV will come with the 2.0-litre diesel engine. And, it is going to be empowered by few engine options including V6 and V8 for both petrol and diesel engine. From the engine options, we learn that the new SUV is planned to be launched for the US and European market as well.
The automaker hasn’t specified the other details on specs. But, most SUVs are now running through all-wheel drive configuration, with two-wheel drive option is also available. Perhaps, this SUV will offer the same thing. It replaces the Land Rover LR4. We should expect excellent power output considering the particular series has always been premium class SUV and favorite among tough rivals.
Tech features, Exterior and Interior
Based on the spied photos, this SUV is going to wear almost the same look as the previous model, upright and boxy, showing muscles and aggressive look. However, most of the rough edges are already redesigned into smoother angles, except for the wheel arches flares. It is also reported that automaker plans to replace the body panel materials with aluminum bond, which is of course lighter. If it is true, the SUV will be faster, and fuel economy rate should be improved.

The interior has been upsetting. The new air vents are now horizontal. And, the button layout is much simpler now even though they keep the rotary control, which indicates automatic transmission for the car. Cabin trimming will wear better quality material, but the tech and features are not impressive. It looks more like a cabin of 2000s car, and in a bad way, instead of next generation of ultimate SUV. Buyers will hate this.

There is no official information about the release date, but it is reported to be launched next year. Meanwhile, the price is still unknown along with few key details of the vehicle.
