Sikonge

Agree with this especially when reading the Nubia history. Nubians made egyptians servants

Ancient Nubians were famous for their vast wealth, their trade between central Africa and the lower Nile valley civilizations, including Egypt, their skill and precision with the bow, their 23-letter alphabet, the use of deadly poison on the heads of their arrows, their great military, their advanced civilization, and their century-long rule over the united upper and lower Egyptian kingdoms

Hebu tuangalie pia jinsi Maximus alivyoweza kukutana na Black gladiator na mwisho kumuangamiza Commodus. Something is hiden even in this movie they appreciate it by including a Nubia actor japo hawakumpatia nafasi yake kihistoria. http://vidreel.com/video/NTk1MDI1/

So what if he was white or black? What's the big deal? And what black African has a name like Julius Caesar anyway? SMH

One day true history will be written and not this mzungu version of historical events. A jewish Professor has also confessed that idea of a single god Jewish had adapted it from the Caanite people black who occupied north west africa at the time.

Much as been done to hide the truth, civilization started in africa our welcoming nature allowed them to take advantage of us eventually rule us and destroyed our own movement and change the writings of our early history. Even today you dont see them mentioning the contribution of black scholars who invented many machines today.

The're scared of us the moment we wake up they're done, Africa will dominate the world again only bad politics need be resolved.

Much love to Queen Nzinga, she proved in her times they can be defeated.

Wafrika tunapenda kujisifia sana kwa vitu visivyokuwapo

Kwa uthibitisho upi?

Kwa sababu Kaisar alikuwa kiongozi wa dola ya Rumi, hata dola ya mirambo kalagosi asingeweza tokea musoma kuja kuchukua na kuendesha dola ya walugaluga hiyo ni what we call DE-FACTO

I honestly don't see how Caesar being black or white helps us today to the point that we are arguing with each other over it.

Unless you look at it from the perspective of a severely insecure black person who wants to validate his blackness through Caesar being black.

True that mkuu. I just don't believe how it would help our current situation even if we were told every important historical figure was black. Napoleon Bonaparte once said, "History is written by the winners." We want to write history let's work on our present instead of concentrating on who was what in the past. Seriously it wouldn't change my life even if I heard Jesus was black. Black, white, yellow....they are all just colors.

Nobody thinks that arguing about ceaser will help anyone, kaisari is not even part of african history, but I think the truth can be desired for itself.

I disagree with you there, the past is still relevant today. We need to know our past which was distorted through European colonialism and imperialism. The past still haunts us today.Knowing our glorious past will give us the confidence to deal with the present and the future.Colonialism distorted our past this is why we have leaders who will rather go shopping for tomatoes in Europe, while there are plenty at home.

If these leaders knew that Africans were the first architects who built the pyramids and other glories(offcourse they dont know this with their colonial education), perhaps they will trust in their fellow countrymen instead of spending more of their time with a begging bowl.

So knowing the past is relevant for today and the future especially in instilling self confidence in people to carve their own destiny. Off-course kaisari example is not so relevant because Rome was an European civilization but for the sake of truth, I dont see any problem in discussing.

Mwanafalsafa what philosophy have you studied?Because I fear that you are too much immersed in 'European' philosophy which has alienated you, just asking.

Do you know where Thales the first so called 'philosopher' studied?

NN kuhusu majina mbona inaeleweka?

Almost nightmare

So you need to know about the glory of your past in order to have confidence? So is that to say you currently don't have confidence or you are not already inspired by the black historical figures you already know? I'm sorry but I still don't see how knowing Caesar is black or white would help me right now. it won't give me any confidence right now if I knew he is black or white.

If these leaders knew that Africans were the first architects who built the pyramids and other glories(offcourse they dont know this with their colonial education), perhaps they will trust in their fellow countrymen instead of spending more of their time with a begging bowl.

Now this is a joke. We need to know great black people in order to believe in our own people? How about the black greats we already know of right now? Don't they make us believe in ourselves? By the way what you call colonial education is the one which taught you English. You seem to be contradicting yourself at this point.

So knowing the past is relevant for today and the future especially in instilling self confidence in people to carve their own destiny. Off-course kaisari example is not so relevant because Rome was an European civilization but for the sake of truth, I dont see any problem in discussing.

You just said it's not relevant so why are we discussing it if it isn't?By the way in the first sentence you say it is relevant.....I'm confused It's obviously relevant to you or else we are wasting time discussing what is irrelevant. Make up your mind.

Mwanafalsafa what philosophy have you studied?Because I fear that you are too much immersed in 'European' philosophy which has alienated you, just asking.

Do you know where Thales the first so called 'philosopher' studied?

You claim European philosophy has alienated me but yet we are discussing European matters with which you are contributing so now the question goes back to you, what philosophy have you studies? And my point is and I still stand by it that we have enough great blacks we are sure of who can give us confidence, inspiration and believe in ourself. I don't see the point of discussing what ifs I am more interested in what is. So Caesar is black as he claims, will that change your life now? I already have enough black people who have made me confident and believe in myself and they don't necessarily have to be a famous historic figure.

If they don't think arguing will help anyone then why are people arguing? Or haven't you read other pots? I think what is the problem here is that people are still not proud of themselves that they need to know characters like Caesar were black in order to feel good.
