Iran yatangaza kufungwa kwa anga hadi itakapotangazwa tena Na AFP na Wafanyakazi wa ToI Leo, 11:41 asubuhi Mamlaka ya usafiri wa anga ya Iran imetangaza kwamba anga ya nchi hiyo imefungwa "hadi ilani zaidi," vyombo vya habari vya serikali vimeripoti, huku Israel na Iran zikiendelea kufyatua risasi kwa siku ya pili. "Hakuna safari za ndege zitakazoendeshwa katika viwanja vya ndege vyovyote nchini ili kulinda usalama wa abiria ... hadi ilani nyingine," shirika rasmi la habari la IRNA linasema. Tangazo hilo linakuja muda mfupi baada ya jeshi la Israel kusema ndege zake zina uhuru wa kufanya kazi angani hadi Tehran. Taarifa kamili hapo chini kwa kimombo. Iran’s civil aviation authority has declared the country’s airspace closed “until further notice,” state media reports, as Israel and Iran continued to trade fire for a second day.

“No flights will be operated at any airports in the country in order to protect the safety of passengers… until further notice,” the official IRNA news agency says.

The announcement comes shortly after Israeli military said its jets have freedom of action in the skies to Tehran.
