Elections 2010 GDP ndiyo kipimo cha Umaskini, Dr. Slaa alikuwa sahihi?

Kaka unachozungumzia ww ni Gross Domestic Product (GDP) whch is th measure of a country's overall economic output. It is the market value of all final goods and services made within the borders of a country in a year. So, GDP kwa Tanzania ni $ 1,421

But Dr Slaa alikuwa anazungumzia Gross National Income (GNI) consists of the personal consumption expenditures, the gross private investment, the government consumption expenditures, the net income from assets abroad (net income receipts), and the gross exports of goods and services, after deducting two components: the gross imports of goods and services, and the indirect business taxes.
The GNI kwa Tanzania: $255.97 per person.

Note: The GNI is similar to the gross national product (GNP), except that in measuring the GNP one does not deduct the indirect business taxes.

So don't u dare to call Dr PhD W.P. Slaa muongo, coz huwa haropoki tu mkuu, huwa anakusanya data kabla ya kuongea..!! Sio kama nanhiii

Zawadi unapoambiwa kuna a lot of indicators this is what we mean, sasa ukiangalia katika these Jedwali mbili utaelewa what we mean.. Hapo Jedwali la kushoto linaonyesha % ya watu wanaoishi chini ya dola 1.25 (Poverty line by WB) ambayo is what we refer to as absolute poverty, na 2.50 USD ambayo ni moderate poverty. Hiz nazo ni indicators za poverty sasa angalia % ya Tanzania compare na nchi nyingine afu uniambie ni ya ngapi.
