From what I know FAB is a hell big time MID since he was a Gooner!!! But the truth stand still, his qualities are far near Xavi Hernandes... Thu y he is no longer a Mid from club level to National team.....And here he is....
Both FAB and Torres are good players though playing at different positions. I thonk that Del Bosque has opted for FAB first and not Torres due performance of the former in Barca compared to that of Torres in Chelsea.
