You believe there will be a refinery in Tanga? Uganda is caught between a rock and a hard surface, its not sure whether to process its oil in Lamu or sell as crude in international markets. Museveni hates selling crude, so he will prefer processing in the region so that we could get residual by products like bitumen, fertilizers, detergent agents, gas, etc. Therefore there will be two options, for Museveni, to either ship to Lamu or build another pipeline from Tanga to Lamu. Its hard time for Uganda. Lamu refinery is breaking ground in September, alot of preparatory work is currently ongoing....
