Diary of the bored housewife

Annette remained flabbergasted as J held her hand firmly and walked with there up the hill to a destination he knew best. She kept wondering if she was under some sort of a spell because she did not resist his grasp. She looked up at J and their eyes met. He stopped to let her catch her breath as she was a little chubby. How he knew she needed a break, she didn't understand. He smiled at her and touched a bead of sweat that was on her forehead. "J what do you think you are doing?" She said in a small voice. And J just smiled and kept walking tightening the grasp on her hand. He pointed to some bar beyond the pine trees and led her there. He asked for a soda and she asked for Konyagi and Dragon. She felt that she really needed it and J looked at her with an amused smile on his face. He downed her drink and started talking.

"I want you in my life Annette. You belong to me. Your husband does not know your worth and am going to make you feel what a real woman is supposed to feel". Annette wanted to slap him for talking negatively about her husband but J grabbed her hand and held to it " I forgive you for being in denial. But give me a chance, you will not regret". He gave her a kiss across her lips and she just sat there glued to her chair unable to resist. Her arms seemed chained to her chair by an invisible force. She could not talk she just sat there. He put her glass to her lips and she finished the contents and he ordered for more from the bar. Annette broke down and cried a pool of tears. She cried so hard, and J just let her and sat there holding her tight. When she was done, she said to J " I wanna go home". He took her home. And she did not turn back at the gate to look at her. Her chickens rushed to meet her as if waiting for hot juicy gossip and off she shushed them into their pens for the night. "Dada, please buy me some Konyagi from Mangi's and Tonic", Annette requested her house help and soon she was lost in a world of her own, drowning in a flood of thoughts.

Yeah, you are from way, way back.

I missed writing. Those were real incidents of my wild wild life.

The weed smoking and booze consumption.

This is just a story, enjoy it.

Annette deeply loved her husband. He was a good man. Soft spoken, tall dark and handsome. He wasn't perfect but to her he was all she ever needed.

Their wedding had been beautiful even though their pockets were not so loaded. Her engagement had been a surprise..... but went so well. Things were tight but she never complained. She kept encouraging her husband and prayed for him and her womb. It had been years now and there was no cry of a little one in their home. It didn't quite bother her or her husband but from time to time, she thought of a tiny baby in her arms.

Her husband had stopped getting intimate with her a while ago but the loving naive Annette didn't suspect foul play at all. She figured he was stressed or didn't feel like. She had been naive in the ways of the world and her husband has been the first man in her life. He would come around, she kept telling herself and it didn't bother her.

Her thoughts crossed over to J and she dismissed them as silly. He was just a friend and she made up her mind to speak to Moosa to ask J to back off unless he would settle for mere friendship. She would ask him to meet with her that evening and talk over some drinks.

Moosa came over at the Pine bar and they were down to chattering the evening away drinking and smoking some weed. So Moosa opened up about J...... and my! There was a lot to talk about and Annette wasn't sure whether to laugh or be sad at what she found out.
