J had a girlie he adored so much. Angel. She was his workmate where he worked at Kariakoo at the aluminium and glass plant. She was a few years older than him but he didn't mind. She didn't have a pretty face but she had a beautiful slim body. To her J was just a kid who loved her so much that she couldn't help but love him back. And he was so overly protective of her. Annette used to smile at the thought of them together and used to encourage him to stay true to her. She never had any intentions of seeing any other man than her husband John.
Every evening after work J would take the office car home with a few of his workmates to his home in Kibamba. But after meeting Annette he would always find an excuse to leave earlier and always took a bike home. He just had to see her. He couldn't stop thinking about her and calling from work even though she politely hung up and told him to focus on his work and his girl because she was married and way older than him.
J knew that he loved Annette. He knew it would be a matter of time before he let Angel go. He knew Annette was not going to be easy, but he knew also that he was able to be patient for a very long time. That is my woman he told Moosa regarding Annette every time Moosa tried to advice him and remind him that he had better chances with Angel than Annette.
He stopped at the shopping centre to buy some goodies for Annette. A good book, some wine and a box of chocolates. And headed to her home to see her. As usual he sat at the backyard gate and waited to see any movements of her with her chicken. He waited and couldn't see anyone until it was almost 7 p.m when he saw Dada walking towards him to shoo the chicken into their pen. She did not see him. He tried calling Annette but she had barred her calls and J was in a murderous rage that very instant.
"Dada, Dada yako yuko wapi"? Asked J. And the startled Dada answered politely, katoka na Kaka wameenda mjini kula chakula cha jioni. Shika huu mzigo umuwekee. And handed her the parcel he had bought earlier. "Mwambie ni Kaka wa dukani". J was so mad. He was very jealous. Why would anyone take my woman out. Why would she go? And he proceeded to Pine bar to calm down.
