Msaada wenu jamani.

Na kweli ukiangalia sijawahi kuona Curriculum in a written form (kumbuka Curriculum siyo Syllabus!).

Naombeni msaada kwa anayejua. Najua kabisa kuna Lecturers wa hizo kozi kwenye hili jukwaa. Naomba jibu jamani. Hawa jamaa Tanzania Institute of Education nao kwenye site yao hakuna chochote. Wametoa list tu ya syllabus basi.

If you are to agree to understand curriculum as 'all planned and unplanned learning experiences...' there is every possibility that written curriculum does NOT exist in the actual sense of the word "written". During the course of schooling a child might learn punctuality (as a result of the influence of the teacher or school timetabling), a value that isn't necessarily a part of the 'written' curriculum.

But we have to be wary in using the term as there exists a type of curriculum called 'written' curriculum. Now, the written curriculum as a type of curriculum refers to 'documents, courses of study or syllabi that are handed down to schools/colleges for implementation, usually made by curriculum experts and supervised by MoE or its agents.'

Inferring to the above two explanations, it is not necessary for curriculum to exist as written document (I think this is what is thought of when talking of 'written' curriculum) as there are thing a learner may learn as the result of schooling that are not part of what is planned for. But 'written' curriculum exist in its own right as a type among many of curriculum.

curriculum may also refer to a defined and prescribed course of studies, which students must fulfill in order to pass a certain level of education

nadhani anamaanisha formal and informal curricula.formal ni ile ambayo iko planned by a group of people(panel),to meet required and necessary needs, hii ninaweza nikafananisha na hiyo unayoiita ya kuandikwa.inakuwa na mgawanyiko kwa mfano, somo, topic, chapter na kadhalika.informal curriculum ni ile ambayo is not planned and it's randomly done, kama watoto kujifunza kombolela shuleni, haipangwi, inatokeaga tu yenyewe........hiyo ni kwa perspective ya formal na informal, ukichunguza zaidi, utagundua kwamba classification ya curricula iko very wide, kuna explicit-ambayo ndio mara nyingi hutumiwa na waalimu mashuleni(miongozo ya waalimu),implicit/hidden-hii haiko direct, kwa mfano mwalimu kukaa mbele ya darasa na kuongea, inaonyesha kwamba ana authority,na yeye ndiyo center of attention, hii inakuwepo wanafunzi wanapoweza kutambua kwamba mwalimu ni muhimu kwao, kwa mfano, sauti anayotumia mwalimu, muda anaotumia kuwa na wanafunzi,na jinsi anavyo-behave mbele ya wanafunzi, aina ya tatu ya curriculum ni Null curricullum-hii inahusisha mambo yote ambayo hayafundishwi darasani......nimejaribu kueleza kama nielewavyo, kama nimekosea mahali mnirekebishe, ila nakushauri pia, usome vitabu,na kuna resources kibao kwenye internet, make good use of it......kila la kheri.

***my take-naona inayoandikwa ndo formal, na explicit, hizo aina zingine zote haziandikwi
