Well, Tangu JK aingie madarakani na rafiki zake akuno lolote lile ambalo keshalifanya kwa ajili ya our national Interest be it domestically au Internationally.

So far tangu hawa CCM wachukue nchi naweza ku argue kuwa kama ambavyo CHADEMAalivyokuwa hawawezi kuwa trusted with our national Security hawa CCM hatuwezi kuwa trust with our national interest kwani at the heart of CCM ni hiyo personal gains za watawala. Kama mjuavyo the root of the idea of the national interest ni principle of national security and survival so far what we have is a house of cards built by CCM ambao wamesahau ilani yao ya uchaguzi ya kila Mtanzania kuwa na maisha bora na sasa hivi inaonekana kitu kinacho wa keep bize ni UFISADI usiku na mchana.

Haya ndio matitizo ya kuwaachia ma Idealists waka run nchi..kila kitu kimeoza to the core. Na few realists kama akina Membe nao wamebaki kama wendawazimu kwani influence yao haina maana yoyote ile...lakini ndio yale yale kipovu anamwonyesha njia kipofu mwenzie

That "CCM govt cannot be trusted with our National Interest" is fact, in fact nobody can be trusted with our national interest/ security. If you entertain this idea (that there are people who can be trusted) you are part of the problem.

The idea that we as Tanzanians can "trust" someone, some political party or a specific institution is faulty, disastrous and should be avoided at all cost.

Human nature tends to abuse public trust in favor of personal interest when given the opportunity.I have argued may times here that what Tanzanians really need is a rigorous set of no-nosense institutions coupled with an educated electorate, then the idea of checks and balance will be extended to the people who will be knowledgeable about the going ons of the government.

This way, nobody will need to trust anybody, everybody will merely be watching out for the public good and that of his own.

Again, it is not about who we can trust (because whoever will be trusted can potentially abuse that trust) it is about doing away with the idea of trust and building imppeccably robust and unimpeachable institutions.

Cant agree more with you...this isn't a 'new'CCM government - it's a collection of has-beens, placemen and people who weren't good enough to be in the last Cabinet.

You'd be hard-pushed to find such a weird array of incompetents, dullards and social inadequates this side of the flight deck of the Starship Enterprise. The JK and MEMBE even look like Vulcans.

this side of the flight deck of the Starship Enterprise.

You cracked me up!

Mwanangu you mean these nincompoops are worse than the Vogons?

We now know that the defining characteristics of the JK's administration are fear and cowardice.

Some people are so glad to see the back of MKAPA that they're prepared to forgive JK anything for the time being.

That won't last. The novelty will wear off soon enough.

Now JK got the job he's coveted all his life, he's running scared. He looks uncomfortable and has the air of a man about to get his collar felt.

When he was at FOREIGN AFFAIRS, It was much easier being the boy sitting at the back of the class, cheating at maths and making himself scarce when his classmates were caught smoking behind the bike sheds. It wasn't me, sir. I wasn't there.

Now he's finally achieved his ambition of becoming MR PRESIDENT, he's acutely aware that he isn't really up to the job.

If ever there was a classic case of 'be careful what you wish for', this is it. You can smell his fear every time he reads JF posters are saying about him and his administration

this is deep!

National interests? National security? You name it. This government can not be trusted with anything. None! Once you have incompetent leaders in the cabinet, with personal ambitions, you dont expect anything better from them. Once you have leaders who came into power through public funds embezzlement, you cant expect anything from them. So, why would anyone trust the JK government?
