Akizungumza na waandishi wa habari jana, Kamanda wa Polisi Mkoa wa Mara, Salim Morcase alisema kutokana na tuhuma hizo, jeshi hilo liliwakamata watuhumiwa wote wa wawili na kufanya uchunguzi kwa ajili ya hatua nyingine zaidi.
Alisema tayari jeshi hilo limekamilisha uchunguzi na jalada limepelekwa Ofisi ya Mashtaka kwa ajili ya hatua zaidi.
Kamanda alisema paroko huyo na mhasibu wake wanadaiwa kugushi nyaraka kwa nyakati tofauti na kujiapatia kiasi hicho cha fedha, mali ya parokia hiyo, kinyume cha sheria na taratibu.
Alisema mbali na kughushi nyaraka, watuhumiwa hao pia wanadaiwa kughushi sahihi za watu mbalimbali, hali iliyowawezesha kufanikisha malengo yao na kujipatia kiasi hicho cha fedha.
“Sisi tumekamilisha upelelezi wetu tangu wiki iliyopita na jalada tumelipeleka kwa mwendesha mashtaka wa Serikali, hivyo tunasubiri hati ya mashtaka kwa ajili ya watuhumiwa kufikishwa mahakamani kwa mujibu wa sheria," alisema.
Alisema watuhumiwa hao wako nje kwa dhamana wakisubiri kukamilika kwa mchakato wa ofisi ya mwendesha mashtaka wa Serikali.

While the accused individuals are currently out on bail, they await the completion of the legal process by the government prosecutor's office.
